Momentum is everything. We have lost ours now. Colombia will beat us and all the good work over the first two games will go to waste. It's all over.

Ascotexgunner
genome Welbeck coming on, which tells you everything about Southg8's ambitions with this match

Although unable to hit the side of a barn door in an Arsenal shirt, I thought he had a decent record for England.

He does. Just whacked a fiver on him to score the next goal at 16/1.

Uke FFS shut up about Platt’s goal from 28 years ago

I'll trump your David Platt with a Hal Robson Kanu

I'd like to see whether he could have done better with that shot.

Much happier with this route than playing Brazil.

By saving everything that came his way? Nothing he could do with the goal.

it was nowhere near in the corner. well struck but I would expect a top international keeper to keep it out.

do we have one stashed away somewhere?

Just seen the goal again, it dipped just under the bar, not much he could have done.

Colombia didn't look that great today, we can beat them with the first team. Very dangerous front 3 but other than that, no great shakes

Definitely. Still a lot harder than Japan but the rewards are much greater.

Wouldn’t surprise me if Brazil (assuming they beat Mexico) knock out Belgium.

Like France they still have so many more gears to get through. Worryingly good players. Imho.

Hmmmmm Pickford seemed a little too close to his near post for the goal.
