Blackett in instead of Gunter. Brentford are athletic, Gunter is increasingly not.

  1. Get a ticket and travel to Griffin Park
  2. Listen to Radio 5 Live and/or a myriad of other radio stations for score flashes
  3. Ring/text a mate for updates
  4. Use an iFollow subscription
  5. BBC Radio Berkshire (FM : 104.4, 104.1 or 95.4 depending where you are in the area)

You should add: Freeview Channel 719 (certainly in London) for BBCRB.... more reliable than iFollow/ internet things and the key word is "Free"

Yep Freeview is the way I listen to the games. Feel lucky to be able to listen as I was never able to listen regularly to Tim and Mick in the past. Think I've heard most of the games this season that I've not seen.

Did lose interest last season though before Clement came in!

Brentford: Bentley, MacLeod, Mepham, Maupay, McEachran, Watkins, Sawyers, Benrahma, Dalsgaard, Konse (c), Barbet.
Subs: Daniels, Odubajo, Canos, Yennaris, Mokotjo, Judge, Jeanvier.

Reading: Walker, Yiadom, Gunter, Moore (c), Ilori, Ezatolahi, Bacuna, Swift, Barrow, Meite, Böðvarsson.
Subs: Jaakkola, Aluko, Sims, Blackett, McNulty, Rinomhota, Kelly.

So, Gunter is the answer to the O'Shea conundrum.

Note also starts for Swift, Meite and Barrow so Sims and Kelly drop to the bench.

Looks like Baldock has this weeks mystery injury.

No Baldock, another injury on the training ground I would say, disappointing Sims not starting.

Slightly baffling. Kelly and Sims played well. We're never going to build any consistency with such frequent changes. Tactical maybe? Dunno, don't get it.

Yet another injury in training. Baldock played very wall last week so that’s disappointing. Surely Sims could have started on the other flank ahead of the highly ineffective Meite?

Agree with this, don't get the fiddling about. Gunter (or whoever) obviously had to replace O'Shea but it would appear the loss of Baldock has apparently necessitated the need to also drop Sims and Kelly rather than just playing McNulty as surely that's what he's there for.

If this turns out to be another disaster Clement's going to get a lot of stick.

No need to drop Sims for Meite whatsoever.

Let’s face it, we aren’t likely to get anything out of today’s match so going 1-0 down early on isn’t a surprise.

Straight after Bod had a header cleared off the line apparently

JLow suggests Gunter was to blame

We've not been completely shit so far, in case you litterally turned on as it was scored it actually came from our corner that was hacked off the line by Brentford. Tbf to them they've been the better team, if we don't lose our heads now we could* be ok.

I'll have to rewind to check but I'd say JLow is full of it. Was on Yiadoms side that we were weak

I literally turned on BBCRB to hear Dellor say "Great chance for Brentford, 1-0!"

So yes, pretty much on the moment they scored.

Re.the goal...Ilori fails to cut out the cross/pass from the right, he goes to ground and misses it, allowing his man, Maupay, to get free and shoot for the goal. Gunter should then have done better, failed to react, and was caught napping at the far post...

Gooding harsh on Bod there. Great ball from Bacuna but it would have been a great flicked headed goal under pressure if it he'd made it
