Now I'm saddened by the fact I missed that completely obvious one. Lost my pun touch.

Brain Traysers IN for giving Marshall a real chance, and if that doesn't work out then Parky for me.

Knows a Championship relegation battle (Bolton overachieved by staying up last season), has had experience stabalising teams before taking them up the league to the play-offs (Charlton and Bradford), or automatic (Colchester). At Bolton his hands have been tied due to the state of their finances, and things are seemingly in a very bad place now - players and staff, including Parky, have reportedly not been paid their bonuses for last season.

The attendance show just how much apathy there is around the club currently, he might not be the very best manager, but would certainly connect with the fanbase and bring some life back to the place.

Not bad stats either. Has built his management CV over a considerable number of years. Arguably under the radar. Though perhaps someone who could a job for 4/5 years. That would reestablish Reading in the upper reaches of the Championship. We are so far off Premiership standard at the moment. That there's little point in getting over excited by any potential new manager. Need a steady pair of hands.

I might have misssed something but why exactly would we want Mark Warburton?

Currently more of us want Ian Royal so I don't think there is any real danger of Warburton, he's the yeast of our worries.

Are you suggesting he’d be toast?

Warburton would really be rubbish. Heard Leeds were after him in the summer but they pulled out, he wasn't good enough for the Mighty Whites.....

Yes, by the looks of his record he’s just not the man we knead right now.

Crumbs! I’m sandwiched between a young up and coming manager and an old sour dough.
it’s a pita that Bruce Brioche isn’t still at Bolton. That would free Parky up for a return.
Having said that my naan says that a bit of crumpet couldn’t do any worse.

5 traditional managers in a row have failed, time for a true shake-up.

And you thought the Holland team liked pointlessly arguing with each other....
