Good move for all involved.

Good luck to him. I didn't think he was as bad as a lot of people made out.

Good news for all.

And with that, my issue with the signing of Martinez is gone.

Yep he played a significant part keeping us up with those two penalty saves last season. Seems to be a genuinely decent man. I wish him well.

With him not going in the January transfer window, MLS was always going to be the destination.

Good luck Vito. Looking at their squad, he's a fairly big name signing. I think he'll do well there although slightly concerned that their nickname is The Loons.

Agreed. He was no Al-Habsi but he was also no Bond and was very unfortunate to be pushed out of the club in favour of some equally average goalkeepers.

Yeah agreed, didn’t really too much wrong, but equally didn’t have many particularly good games either

Was always a little disappointed with him, did think he’d be a very good keeper at this level, but in the end he was pretty average

Expect the other keepers were a lot cheaper than him tbf, and similar standard

£££s innit.

He was about as good as Walker and Jaakkola, but probably earned at least three or four thousand a week more than either if not significantly more.

^ this.

To call him a disaster is a bit OTT.

Didn't make any howlers as such but there were simply too many "could have done better" moments, good decision to get rid IMO
