paultheroyal Comments from Stevenage...

Anyone noticed we kicked in to the wind both halvesAnyone noticed we kicked in to the wind both halves

According to the historical weather reports for Stevenage, the wind was unchanged in direction throughout the game. So, if they were playing into a wind in the second half as well, it must have been down to whatever Evans ate at half-time.

They're correct, they did kick into the wind both halves.

Not sure why it gets that reaction. I’m not wishing it on him

But he is a massively overweight, overly angry man.

You might not be happy with guesses to that question.

Didn’t Stevenage beat Newcastle once upon a time or something? a Dino Maamria goal maybe?

Such history.

Won’t be missed when they nosedive.

Clearly Steve Evans finds getting his teams to play attractive football very taxing.

9165 Odd! Their previous manager, Westley, was a right gamemanship merchant too, a bit of a winder- upper to say the least.
Like you say, probably at their peak this season anyway.

Didn't he stitch up Farnborough too? When he was Farnborough manager he sold Stevenage some players for strangely cheap prices, then jumped ship and went to Stevenage shortly after.

They might have some gobby keyboard warrior fans, but I've no problem with them as a club. They are punching well above their weight, but nothing wrong with that. Just over 30 years ago they were in the Isthmian Div 2 North, then apparently won promotion three times in four years, and haven't really looked back.

Would that be the same Steve Evans that did a 50 meter sprint down the touchline like Mr Blobby at Wembley once? I think he managed Rotherham at the time.
I find all the criticism of over celebrating a win seriously weird at the moment, I`m seeing it more and more, if you can`t celebrate a win now when the fcuk can you?

See what you did there. It's easy to forget, that not only is he an absolutely repugnant man but he's also a fraudster.

Definitely looks like he's got one of them dodgy Fire sticks and a load of really tacky ornaments in his house.

I think it's safe to say that in normal circumstances Reading players would not be celebrating an away win at Stevenage with huge enthusiasm.

But then, in normal circumstances, neither side is in L1, Stevenage certainly aren't in the top 6/7, Reading aren't getting only their second away win in over 12 months, and moving out of the relegation zone in their lowest position for about 25 years or more, whilst faced with the possibility of the entire club folding.

Utterly bizzare comments from the fat pcunt.

Evans should be taking it as a compliment that Reading heavily celebrated winning away at Stevenage. If anything it shows respect on how good their season has been and our away form has been diabolical for a long time.

Evans should realise, and really will actually realise, that the celebrations would have been the same if we had snatched a win at literally any club - his comments are just about making himself feel better and probably deflect slightly from what was a very poor performance.

At least, I hope it was poor as if they are picking up points playing like that (and that is them playing well as Evans claims), shows you just how awful a division L1 is.

Thing is they looked bang-average when we played them at home in August. Just shows how poor League 1 really is when they've been sat in the play-off spots all season. Bemused every time I look at the table, that the likes of them, Derby and Oxford are riding so high, and conversely that Fleetwood are 6 points below us.
