Jordan Obita

by LoyalRoyal22 » 15 Jul 2012 12:25

So i heard he was really good yesterday and i have seen the goal myself, impressive

Suprised he didnt get a chance in the league last season, he was one of our top peformers in pre-season, i personally went to watch him at Northampton in the friendly, and he just breathed class, bit like Gylfi

Seemed to do well on his loan moves, got a few goals and assists

I remember Trevor Brooking saying he was one of england`s brightest young prospects, and Football Manager had him as the `next paul scholes` last year

I for one hope he gets a chance this season at some stage...

He is too young. If we were in the Champ this season he would start the majority of games. One more season out on loan and then we will use him.

Whilst I agree, tell that to the Ox.

 If he's good enough he will play, nothing to do with age.

Thought he looked very promising yesterday although you have to balance that off against the opposition we were playing.

I would be more than happy to see him out on loan at a Championship club next season, that in itself will be a big step up.

Was just thinking the same thing. One more season I agree.

Scored again tonight. He was the stand out player last summer in pre-season. I would love to see him get a chance this season. Send him to the FLC on loan until Christmas and then see if we can give him some time on the bench, around the the first team with a view to seeing him push for a place in the side next season.

he does remind me of gylfi a lot. he will be good in a couple of years after he develops. one difference with gylfi though: we wont be forced to sell him!
