Another disappointing corner from McAnuff. Needs to be more of a threat in two weeks time.

Pugh looks a decent player. Another attack down the left for #afcb and his cross sails just over.

Shouts of 'Premier League, you're having a laugh'. I think 'lolz' is an appropriate comment for that.

Unlucky for Feds. Couldn't do very much about it.

V poor first half.
Shorey, Legs, Mariappa and Morisson looking good.
McLeary, McAnuff and rest poor.

^ this... Are we too "lightweight"?...

Given the reports about our wide men and kebe being out for a while, I'm not sure why we are on the brink if selling Antonio if we don't have to. He 's a direct runner which we don't really have.

Maybe it's just these different formations to give everyone game time - hopefully we'll be in prem mode by next weekend

A bit more depth wouldn't go amiss in midfield

Yeah, I mean, Sheffield Wednesday lost 14-0 to Alfreton in a friendly last season, and look how bad their season turned out.

Understandable our defence is taking a while to gel, McDermott seems to be taking a good long look at who his preferred four is. It could easily only have one of last season's regulars in it come Stoke. Depending on Gunter's injury, which is a little worrying/

i know it always is with us, but this pre-season especially has been lightweight and even then totally underwhelming. if you look at the other two promoted sides, their pre-seasons have included games vs.

so'ton: anderlecht, ajax, arsenal, evian, udinese

wet spam: austria vienna, braga, dynamo dresden, cottbus

these are quality sides who will be testing and teaching, not to mention preparing their squads for a step up in quality of opposition. i don't see what we can possibly have learned by getting humped by a league 1 side on the algarve.
