Play offs watch

by PistolPete » 21 Apr 2014 16:06

MONDAY HOPES - ALTHOUGH IT SIMPLY SUSTAINS THE PAIN!

Key Games

Brighton v Blackpool
Unlikely Blackpool point would be great

Ipswich v Bournemouth
Bournemouth win or draw please

Relevant

Birmingham v Blackburn
Need a Brum win or a draw

Leeds v Nottm Forest
A win for Leeds or a draw and Forrest hopes are over...

Burnley v Wigan
Good chance of Wigan dropping points, but they're practically there.

QPR v Watford
Watford probably out of it, but QPR win would finish them off

Unimportant to RFC

Millwall v Doncaster
Big for both these games for safety, but no relevance to us

Sheff Wed v Charlton
Huge game for Charlton, but no relevance for us

Yeovil v Huddersfield
No relevance

Derby v Barnsley
No relevance

Half time and it's not going badly at all.

Blackburn keeping their hopes alive, but really we need to look at the teams above us...

Ipswich Vs Bournemouth currently 1-1
Brighton Vs Blackpool 0-0

This could change pretty quickly though!

EDIT: lasted about a minute :(

I just can't see us getting more than 5 points, so that Brighton goal is a killer!

Could be ditto Blackburn, Forest and Bournemouth - although a win for them will dent Ipswich.

Quite bizarrely if things stay as they are and we win all our last 3 games we will be 6th. Ha, last bit of that sentence should have been preceded by "in a parallel universe".

Everything else remaining the same, a Bournemouth and a QPR goal would be as good a day as we could have hoped for
