Summer ? Bit of a wait or won't ManU contemplate letting him go 'til then?

But then I checked the Chronic and that says a possible for January...

The Sun suggested we are looking for him on loan in January. Apparently we were looking at him last summer.

I hope if it's true, and a loan, it's with a view to buying next summer - we have enough of our own strikers, we shouldn't be bringing in untested ones on loan, unless we're looking longer term.

I'm not sure what he offers that Novakovich couldn't?

I hadn't realised (but am not that surprised) quite how much of a stormer Novakovich is having at Telstar...

Agreed. His scoring record across his loans is barely even meh. Something like 5 goals in 30 appearances.

Wiki says 9 goals in 51 games for ManU and loan deals at Brighton and Derby but actually how many minutes that amounts to is anyone's guess. League wise he has 8 in 44 appearances including 2 in one PL game back in 2013/2014

His loan at Derby was cut short about this time last year owing to a serious knee injury so 6 months to judge fitness etc. sounds like a bit of a no brainer.

Leeds are also said to be interested.

And it's 6 goals in 10 appearances for Andrija Novakovich at Telstar this season.

Presuming no other striker activity was forthcoming (and let's be honest that appears to be the general expectation at Reading these days) then next season Reading would have just one relatively experienced striker (Bod) at the club even if Wilson was signed and Novakovich remains. Whether that would be a problem can only be answered with hindsight.

Championship - 5 goals and 2 assists in 1415 minutes (29 appearances) (+141 minutes, 2 games, in the playoffs with no goals) = 5 for Brighton (27 appearances) and none for Derby (4 appearances)
Premier League - 3 goals and no assists in 420 minutes (15 appearances) - 1 for United was in the FA cup
Premier League 2 - 13 goals and 2 assists in 1801 minutes (25 appearances)
UEFA Youth League - 5 goals and no assists in 540 minutes (5 appearances)

Little bit of Telstar trivia; I know Jacob Walcott went on loan there about 6 years ago but the Reading link goes back to the early 1960s when Jack Mansell was their manager.

Glad we don’t seem to have serious interest in him. There’s plenty of questions but he certainly doesn’t answer any of them

Didn't Kermogant sign a one year contract extension to summer 2019 (could be mistaken tbf)?
