Abrefa's not injured, Yiadom is starting ahead of him because of competition for places (from the Chronicle).
I think this is a good thing. Obviously Yiadom has been playing well, and seems to be getter game by game.
Abfrefa is still relatively inexperienced. Managers often say that playing too many senior games in a row can put too much pressure on players transitioning into being full first team regulars.
And Richardson is being up front about it, whilst heaping raise on Kelvin A.
Hopefully the likes of Ahmed, Garcia amongst others will also come back into the team better players for having some time out.
Overall, good management? I think so.
