Seems decent enough so far. Hopefully the eighteen month deal doesn't come back to bite us given he's probably at his peak now.

Good move this. Think he has done as well if not better than most of the summer signings.
Hopefully LRs knowledge and contacts of players will see an up lift on the Jacobs, Lane and Burns (although last 3 games he's been decent) type signings.
Maybe this Tom Pearce link and a couple of others will see us have a good 2nd half of the season

I'll confess, I was really unsure when we signed him initially. However, he's been pretty solid in every game I've seen him in and yeah, I think this is great news to have him for longer. He's grown into his position even in the short time he's been here, he's earned that extension.

He’s basically a 6 or 7 out of 10 player every week. Which is not to be sniffed at, a Steady Eddy if you will. His ability to cover multiple positions is also handy. Would perhaps have preferred the contract to have only run to the end of the season with an option, but that was probably unrealistic.

He's also quick, and looks to drive forward and take people on, which is always a plus, especially when combined with work rate, which he also has.
