Hello Reading fans, and hope the mods won't mind an off-topic post,
Eamonn Dolan, former head of the Reading Academy, was my brother-in-law, taken from his family, friends and the game he loved at just 48 years of age, 10 years ago this summer.
A few months ago, I definitely wasn't expecting to be lining up for my first half marathon at 60 years of age this weekend, but when I heard that Eamonn's daughter, Grace, was running and that the finishing line was next to the stand named after him, it had to be done!. Four of Eamonn's nephews and nieces are also running on Sunday, and Grace has a fund-raising page to raise money for the Royal Marsden Hospital here:

if anyone would like to help the cause.
Best of luck to anyone on here who is running too, and fingers crossed for a big playoff push for the Royals!
