Alan Partridge 12 cup finals? Does that mean Coppell won't bother with them and play the reserves?
by floyd__streete » 20 Feb 2008 13:53
andrew1957 6/ When you look at our squad it really does look much stronger than the teams around us.
by londinium » 20 Feb 2008 14:03
floyd__streete It was 14 cup finals left after the Chelsea game according to Stephen Hunt. What happened in the last two cup finals then? We ended up with runners up medals as usual. Won't be long until we are counting 8, 7, 6 cup finals.....and then we only need 5 wins from the last 4 games. Do we really need a thread like this ever midweek to get us in the mood for our latest loss?

Rabid RTGism at its worst there.

I was going to post a reply to this thread earlier stating exactly the first 10 responces it would get from both the STG'S and the RTG'S... looks like floyd has already managed to post the most obvious one for the STG's straight away. It almost makes me think sometimes that some posters on here really want to see us go down so they can say 'told ya so'.

anyone that thinks that football matches are won or lost, and league tables decided, on the internet is STUPID.

Wax Jacket agree with the previous poster.
Floyd's as passionate a Reading fan as you will see and I guarantee that he will be as positive as possible in the build-up to and during most of the match. It makes no difference to the matchday if he posts his opinion on here unless are footballers are thick enough to read everything and tkae it to heart - and if they are then we're as good as down. It would make a difference if he started booing from kick-off but there's no way that will happen.

Sadly people like Floyd are all too common in Reading. They never have a good word to say about anyone or anything. I am sure that whatever he may say publicly Floyd is desperate for us to go down so that he can come on here and boast about how right he was all along.
People like him are usually just sad loners who have nothing better to do with their lives than be negative and try to bring everyone down to their depths. Very sad really but we have to live with them.
For me to be a "supporter" by definition means that I will do all I can to "support" the club and try to be positive. I will be very upset if Reading go down but will still be there next season cheering them on in the Championship with my RTG's still firmly on - looking for promotion.
Just spouting constant negativity can only be detrimental to our chances of survival.

Do you know what you remind me of? A Jehovah’s Witness. Forever knocking on peoples doors spouting a load of nonsense that only you believe in – our squad looks much stronger than those around us, Jehovah wept – and when they repeatedly slam the door in your face you walk on by shaking your head and smirking in a self-satisfied way at us heathens.
