Re: TAKEOVER *NOT* CONFIMRED

Might the fact that IIRC there is a minority shareholder of the club be an issue ? Doesn’t one of the Thai’s still have some holding ? Obviously Dai can’t sell their shares and if a new owner wants 100 % of the club then the small shareholder has a bit of a ransom situation. I can’t remember the ru...

Re: TAKEOVER *NOT* CONFIMRED

My tuppence worth! I think that the Americans (as in Wrexham) are attempting to draw locals back to the game, Wrexham has good transport links to both Liverpool and Manchester. How often can they get tickets to see the big clubs and the cost associated with this, invest in a small club with big amb...

Re: TAKEOVER *NOT* CONFIMRED

Leo Rikfind does know his name is all over companies house for the charge over Bearwood, right? He us a qualified lawyer after all. But still good he's being discrete. Just business. Whatever the outcome they'll make money. Bet there's a significant interest rate on the money being lent to the club...

Re: TAKEOVER *NOT* CONFIMRED

We're all speculating. But relegation definitely increases the risk of it falling through. 'Definitely' :D How ever would you know that? I think that intuitively, if we get relegated the risk of the deal falling through is increased, and that outcome is more likely than if we stay up. Should walk l...

Re: Who do we want to play next season?

There's little quality in the teams that will be promoted from league 2 this season. Nothing to fear. Gulf/divide across the entire EFL has continued to widen. Wrexham lost £5 million getting promotion out of the National League last season. That includes the money generated from their FA Cup run. L...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Northampton Town (h)

His deal expires in 2025, so from a pure business sense a new owner should be looking to sign him up or sell. What's a fair price? £2m up front, with achievable add ons for an extra £1m plus a hefty sell on clause? If the takeover doesn't happen a pack of doritos and a bottle of pepsi max should do...

Re: TAKEOVER *NOT* CONFIMRED

This also means that if the deal falls through for any reason, and Dai does not repay the loan, they can place us into administration or seize Bearwood to get their money back. This is Dai ceding a lot of control on the process, and a sign that he is serious about selling in my view. The legal char...

Re: TAKEOVER *NOT* CONFIMRED

The last 2 tweets from the club have been another reminder about the mini season tickets, along with the fan store being open over Easter. I appreciate this is just marketing, but it’s the usual rinse repeat comms/process whenever we’re supposedly close to exclusivity. I am just waiting for the tal...

Re: TAKEOVER *NOT* CONFIMRED

Nigel Howe recently said mid May for a takeover to be completed. That's about as comprehensive a statement as can be given, Whatever will be, will be. Is that like the statement from Bowen that the sale should be complete by early New Year. Or when we should have exclusivity within about a week, th...

Re: TAKEOVER *NOT* CONFIMRED

I hope more than anything I am wrong, but I think we’ll get to 2 April with no news. The club will go silent apart from the usual tweets from admin and in the middle of April news will slowly filter out confirming that takeover talks have collapsed. I don’t trust Dai to sell the club. Nigel Howe re...

Re: Have your go at being ITK

All the buyers pull out of talks, At the end of the season Dai says he can't afford to keep us afloat any longer and liquidates the club. To liqudate the club he'll need to find buyers for the assets. Wycombe pay £15 million as the only bidders for the training complex. Offer Reading fans a ...

Re: TAKEOVER *NOT* CONFIMRED

Agree with this but you’re rational, he isn’t, he has shown no intention of selling up to now just empty words As wildly irrational as he is, I can't see any logic at all to turning down a decent offer. With the now publicised restriction on Bearwood, selling that off becomes far more difficult, an...

Re: TAKEOVER *NOT* CONFIMRED

Positive and negative spins available. The remaining parties must really want us to take such a risk covering the shortfall (good). They must be total idiots to want to buy a club in such a mess and dance to Dai's tune (bad). To fund the shortfall they'll either want some security (as did the Wycom...

Re: Pang's Twitter History

I'm sure Pang didn't like the bedsheet. If the club isn't sold by the next home game, I encourage them to make another. I might even. Pang hearts Piss Princess. Pathetic but its suitable for someone pathetic and who needs to get out of the club. I'm intrigued as to why you're so sure he wouldn't li...

Re: Embargos, HMRC Payment defaults, non payment of wages, the usual under Dai Wrongge

The key immediate question is do we need exclusivity this week, so someone can provide funds this week to cover the tax due on Friday (otherwise we are -2) or do we have funds at least for the tax now as has been rumoured on Twitter? I'm not sure Dellor covered this earlier.... Likewise the month e...

Re: TAKEOVER *NOT* CONFIMRED

Events off the pitch will be be what they'll be. Just need as to get as many points on the table as possible from the remaining games. Remaining a League One club for next season is all that matters. That's a huge unwanted pressure on the players and the footballing staff.

Re: Embargos, HMRC Payment defaults, non payment of wages, the usual under Dai Wrongge

... I believe HMRC is due this week, but that will be lower than the wage bill ... Does RFC pay VAT quarterly or monthly? If quarterly the HMRC bill this month could be substantially bigger than previous months. I imagine quaterly as there is no point in anyone paying their VAT monthly as it create...

Re: What day will the news break?

Green What a shambles.

Dai has to realise the maximum amount possible to repay his creditors back in China. That's if he's actually in control or whether the Party has steppd in.
