Re: What is the point in HRK

I have to admit I do look forward to HRK following in the footsteps of Karacan, Pearce and Federici, in being the failure that most expect him to be. Its fair to say those three have hardly set the world of football alight with their season transforming performances last year, can't see Kanu being a...

Agree with that Snowball, that is a lot of money for someone largely unproven at this level.

Re: Is this the end for Madejski?

It must be a difficult working relationship if from the start there is a coldness between the manager and the chairman ? would be interesting to know which side of the fence that Howe is favouring ?

Re: New manager odds

Very true Ian, there are a lot of strong characters in that list that wouldn't take kindly to having players signed over their heads, for me that is why I see an overseas manager pretty likely as that is the way a lot of european clubs operate, the club get the players and you coach them.

But are we not looking to employ a coach and not a manager ? hence here is the job and the players we have given you, now go and win some matches, is that the right or wrong way to do it ?? who knows only time will tell.............

Re: McDermott Sacked (AGAIN)

Hardly an unexpected decision, when appointed it was much written that he wasn't the Thais choice, more that they took SJM and Howe's advice, so any slight issue over results and points gathering would give them the opportunity to make the change, and in reality the results and performances were pre...

Not likely to hear much about his loan spell, he has hardly played, only 6 matches since he has been there, no goals and 2 yellows, hardly encouraging............

Why effort in this game ? it's been sadly missing for a long time now, on the bright side a bloody good hammering might see the end of McDermott !!

Re: Loan Watch

What is the point of re-calling Stacey with just one game left ?? Not going to see much of what he can do in a single game, what a waste of time, should have been playing along with Keown, Fosu & Barrett a month ago, sure as hell couldn't look worse than what has been seen recently.
