Re: Official RFC Clownovic Day. The protest thread

Given the state of the club i don’t think a jokey message like this or pants day even is what’s needed. This isn’t just a protest about a shite team this is about the structure of the club from top to bottom. Do you think violence is needed? I'm an expert on violence and can bring multiple weapons ...

We'll no doubt respond with 'yeah but Luton is a shithole' but that doesnt make their point less valid. As an experience, a ground in the middle of nowhere is shite.

Re: New Stadium

The key to the MadStad's financial success was the hotel and conference centre, a revenue stream all through the year. That needs to be close to the M4, so move into town and you negate a lot of that and go back to a facility that's only really used 20-odd times a year. I know I know, this is purel...

Re: New Stadium

 I mean what with the fantastic situation the clubs finances are in it seems a suitable to discuss this. Saying that - this very topic was discussed sometime last year and I suggested the current Police station/old civic centre. Parking underneath. IDR straight in from motor way. Not far from ...

New Stadium

Has any one ever thought about what the football experience would be like if the club had built the SCL Stadium somewhere near the town centre. We always hear comments from visiting fans about the ground feeling 'soulless' and the fact its on an out of town industrial estate so it got me thinking ab...

Re: BFTG - Birmingham (A)

It's almost like players who don't perform well generally aren't liked, isn’t it fellas. Weird. People also don’t know the definition of scapegoat. Moore is not being blamed for the fault of others. No one made him do that pass back under no pressure. Even Puscas isn’t a scape goat, if anything I t...

Not seen it anywhere but guessing at around 11,000 ish. More Blackpool fans than there were Barnsley but less hone fans than on Saturday.

I won't be returning to the Mad Stad until this nonsense stops.

Thank goodness for the BLM movement!

Re: Attendances

Part of the issue is there is no tangible Marketing Department at the club since people have left and not been replaced. This may be a knock on effect of the pandemic, but hopefully that will change soon. I think there are many reasons why fans don't go and perhaps Marketing or lack of it plays a p...

Re: Attendances

13k average would suggest weve had a few attendances over 13k. I can only think of one possibly two (Bristol City). Feels like weve gone back 20 years to pre Mad Stad days where a 13k crowd was decent 13,000 at Elm Park? I can remember the days when 10,000 was classed as exceptional, Hopefully the ...

Re: Attendances

It's been interesting to see Premier League attendances from afar and the struggles of certain clubs. Loads of empty seats at Arsenal Chelsea for instance, Brighton and Palace have both struggled to sell out home matches when they've been at full capacity pre pandemic and It's never been easier to ...

Re: Attendances

Is it a lot less than the figures being published? The East and South Stands are seeing decent numbers. From where I am in the corner of the North/East stands its never been quieter. Sat with a whole row of seats all around me. Club 1871 doesnt look as busy as it was pre pandemic. North and West st...

Attendances

Pretty concerned at the number of people going along to games at the moment especially post pandemic. The club are stating the figures to be around the 12k mark when in reality I think its a lot less. Given everything going on at the moment (both at the cub and in general life) i understand why peop...

Re: Royal Elm Park

The story here isn’t about what’s happening on the pitch. It’s the investment in the infrastructure to make the area around the stadium generate money. This leads to a more sustainable club. A gravelly old car park or bars/restaurants/event space. I know which I would want to see.

Great to see how the city of Leicester recognise how the club/stadium can kick start the economy and provide jobs post Covid. Wish ours had the same vision.

The morning after the night before

I know we’ve got our club back, great manager, new atmosphere etc etc but is anyone else gone back to remembering what a fcuking useless, lazy bunch of players we have in our squad that we actually own. Moore, Yiadom, Rhinomota, Meite and possibly Barrow aside the rest of them deserve a good hiding ...

Re: BFTG - Brentford

Surprised at the love in for Gunter especially when the guy cannot move or pass forward. His cross in the first half optimised his attacking play. He is so far behind a real full back like Yiadom it's not true.

Blackett is awful and it says something when I would pick him over Gunter.

Re: New Training Ground

I don’t quite understand how REP would be negative for the football club. We are losing a largely unused piece of land that will make the stadium more of a destination rather than a desolate car park.
