Re: Combination matches at Elm Park

Saw many a reserve game, one of which saw Graeme Souness, when he was with Spurs, have a fight with a spectator in the stands. Souness was sat on the bench although he wasn't playing, something was said and the next minute he was in the stands scrapping.

Re: Sonko

But I do think Mills could do more with the ball at his feet than Sonko.[/quote] Sonko was so fast, strong and good in the air at his peak that he would certainly rank above Mills for me. But I do think Mills could do more with the ball at his feet than Sonko. Now people are beginning to see my point

Re: Sonko

This is so so wrong to take Sonko back. The man is an out an out liability, he had one good season with us, the rest of the time he was a penalty waiting to happen, and those who suggest he was better than Mills must have RTG!! get rid now He WAS better than Mills. Whether he IS better now is a tot...

Re: The defence

Harte did get rinsed for the second, but only because Zurab was absolutely kippered, Zurab was at fault for all of the first three goals - pen, beaten for speed & a half hearted attempt of a clearance. Time as you say to give Cummings, Mills/ Pearce/ Morrison/ Williams or a n other a chance. Wou...

Re: Best One-Liners heard at a Reading Game

Going back a number of years, there was a minutes silence following the death of the then Reading Football Secretary, Fred May. We're stood on the Southbank and the silence is being observed with absolute silence, except for the ticking of the clock. TBBM then shouts out "I can hear Martin Hick...

Re: Dave Kitson

The bust up, along with SHunt, was with Coppell, stewards had to be called to calm it down!!

No I don't want him, SHunt or Sonko back, they've had their day here so lets forget them and move on.

Re: Howard - Broken Jaw?

Their mascot should be banned According to Hood on Reading Player a member Reading staff decked him just after the half time whistle. Can't wait to see if the FA take action against us, I can imagine the video evidence becoming a huge hit on youtube. According to Tim Dellor, Ben Hamer was involved ...

Re: New manager [Merged]

or does it prove we are all just being a little over sensitive and gay about that whole thing I just remeber Madejski going on about how disloyal Pards had been and how Madejski was thinking of quitting - pot & kettle me thinks but as having seen McGhee & Pardew do it to us it's about time ...

A thought that comes to mind as much as I would like Ferguson here is that would Madejski employ someone who jumps ship like the judas Pardew did to us?
