Re: New Website?

Here's the (swift) reply I received from Paul Collins, at the club: ================ Thank you for your email. We are aware that supporters are currently experiencing some issues with our new website. We are taking all feedback on board and making Sapient - the central company - aware of slow loadin...

Re: New Website?

I doubt whether RFC have much say over the design of the web-site. It appears to be run by a company called FL Interactive, whose address is c/o The Football League so I assume it was set up to provide website design services to FL clubs and share the development costs. Most of the league clubs seem...

Re: Defence

Firstly we've still got Armstrong! In his latest video, BMcD says "he's not ready yet" (edit: in his latest video) which doesn't give much away - anyone know what his situation is at the moment? Secondly, it seems Liverpool are turning their attention back to Federici as they've been rebuf...

Half-time "entertainment"

Play Your Shirts Right is back Posted on: Thu 05 Aug 2010 This season marks the return of our popular half time game Play Your Shirts Right! The event always proved popular and it is now back, in association with Reading 107FM and S Church Groundwords & Surfacing. At every home game, one lucky ...

Re: HRK or Michail Antonio?

HRK is more of a left winger than a right winger Against Southampton, McAnuff started on the right with HRK on the left. IIRC when Antonio came on for HRK, McAnuff switched to the left so Antonio could play right. McD seems top stick to his guns, so I think if Kebe can't play then HRK will start on...

Re: Mooney on loan to Colchester

On the OS - Brian clearing the decks ahead of the new season. That's funny because I remember it being reported that he and Scott Davies had been told to look for other clubs and that their time at Reading was over. Does that mean they couldn't find anyone to buy him, or that Reading have had secon...

Re: Mikkel Andersen gets new contract

Rumour is that he could be off on loan to Brizzle Rovers again as their original loan keeper got himself injured in pre season and has returned. Well he's obviously someone of great promise. No doubt the gasheads would like him back, but I wonder if that's the best thing for him and for Reading. Su...

Re: Southampton v Reading (Friendly)

5 - it should be Antonio had an "effect", not "affect" - the standard of spelling and grammar on this board is atrocious. Yes I'm a 'newbie', but I've already been told to "oxf*rd off" thankyou. Says the person who in the same post spelt the name Mills with one l. :win...

Re: PLEASEEEE DON't sell Jimmy Kebe

If he is sold then so be it. From the clubs perspective if we get a good offer for him then it will be stupid not to sell as he will leave on a free next summer. On the other hand it does leave us a bit short in the wingers department having also sold James Henry. So all we can hope for if he is so...

Re: Southampton v Reading (Friendly)

A few points from me: 1 - I hope Church starts in place of Long next week as I think he's more in form - although Long was the victim of an outrageous assault by the Sampton CB which left him concussed - the other guy pretended to be injured as well, of course. 2 - Hunt N. came and sat in the crowd ...

Re: McDermott's Post Wolves Interview on Sky

The club shop were asked not to use Federici in the promotional pictures for the new kit, as the club expected him to be sold. Hopefully that will be the only first choice player on his way out, but I've got a feeling Jobi is off to QPR. He wasn't even back at the club was he? He was given an exten...

RIP ELM Park
Lets hope we are, Sunderland won the league with 105 points then finished 7th in the Prem the next season. I'd settle for that!

Written in July 2006 - That's spooky!

And then got relegated!

and then went back up!!!!!!!!!!!!

Perhaps we should re-sign John Oster - just to make sure

Re: Reading v Wolverhampton Wanderers

I'm assuming KD will get a great reception from the Reading fans, and Marcus too if he puts in an appearance (which seems unlikely). I read somewhere that SHunt will be with the squad but not playing due to his rehab. What sort of reception will he get I wonder? It's exactly a year since he was watc...
