Re: TAKEOVER *NOT* CONFIMRED

Would love to see football run more like the NFL. Now I know there is only 32 teams so not as much competition for fans etc, but NFL franchises are rarely run at a loss. If we could get the same kind of branding and marketing awareness into football, especially in the catchment area that Reading ha...

Re: TAKEOVER *NOT* CONFIMRED

If it was the Wilf brothers then we could have won the owners jackpot. They’ve been transformational for the Vikings, who now have the best facilities, infrastructure and stadium in the NFL. Not going to get excited though until something confirmed. Would love to see football run more like the NFL....

BarryWhiteRFC So are technically the 5% that said Tuesday correct?

Well it didn't say which Tuesday!

I agree, I'd give it to them!

Re: MATCHWATCH : Derby County (a)

Something else I've noticed. Certain people on here will just go against the majority seemingly for the sake of it. Like they just love being or want to be controversial. Even Derby fans I know said it was a shocking ref and they felt they had to apologise for the poor decisions. So if Reading fans ...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Derby County (a)

Bit pointless to blame the officials. We weren't good enough on the night and were beaten by a better team fighting for promotion. It was a free hit. Bit pointless to blame the reason we lost on the actual reason we lost? Is this guy for real? It all evens itself out over the course of a season. Th...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Derby County (a)

I know we moan every match but I don't think I've ever been so angry about the officials. Close to being bent rather than just incompetent. I suspect offside for the first goal - happy to be proved wrong. Neither of Yiadom's yellows were valid. Handball when a yard away from a ball wellied at him a...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Derby County (a)

I know it's just a shit ref and not a conspiracy, but fcuk me I'm fuming. Why in this entire shit show are we only ever the ones to be held accountable? Parry will stay in his high paid job, the ref won't be relegated. We're the only ones getting screwed. Normally I give refs the benefit of the dou...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Carlisle United (a)

Made a weekend of it. So whoever recommended the Settle-Carlisle line gets a gold star, just bliss. For all the moorland, the best bit was up in the Eden valley and snow-capped hills looming large out of the cloud. Like a fantasy film. Walk down to the ground - lovely old fashioned one. Huge suppor...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Port Vale (h)

Would agree with that, also Andresson is very much ready and waiting and I'd wouldn't be too upset if the club moved him to be the no 1 next season while CBC was out doing his thing on loan somewhere. How has Andresson done? On loan at the bottom team is not a ringing endorsement. Hasn't he been in...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Exeter City (h)

What I don't understand is, why does Selles, time after effing time keep bringing on Elliott to replace Mukairu, but when he drops him from the starting 11, he then uses Vickers? Makes no sense to me. I also thought the Cheltenham game was crying out for someone with close control and a good touch ...

YorkshireRoyal99 Wonder if Holmes picked up an injury or something against Cheltenham. Either that or he's off to Stoke.

I'm going to guess he got a knock. Or maybe hope it's that.

Or maybe Selles is just being a d*k.

I mean, this also has a high probability!

Re: MATCHWATCH : Carlisle United (h)

I’m not convinced we are playing a whole lot better than earlier in the season - there were games like Bolton, Stevenage - even some of the away games - when we played pretty well at times Think there are a few factors which will hopefully continue working in our favour though and have made a diffe...

Re: BTFG Cambridge

I'm not seeing that at all. There's very little 'should be beating Cambridge'. Just frustration at leaving out our top scorer, tactics of high balls to Vickers against Bennett and Morrison and a lack of creativity. I've seen all our league games and I'd say bar second half against Vale, that was ou...
