Re: Chelsea tickets

I bought my ticket over the phone 7 days ago. The ticket office said they hoped to send out the ticket in the next couple of days. Hasn't arrived yet.

Re: Pre season tour

tidus_mi2 No idea what Osho was doing there, arm outstretched and Sevilla score the resulting penalty, 1-1

That was Omar Richards, not Osho.

Re: STs for season 2019/2020

The club have stated quite clearly on several occasions that all adult season ticket holders will receive a new card for this season. For example, the section headed "Will I receive a new Season Ticket for 2019-20?" at: https://www.readingfc.co.uk/news/2019/may/season-tickets-2019-20--join...

Re: Green park station/south Reading station

Whereabouts in GP is the station going to be? Tried googling around etc but couldn’t find the exact location. Guessing near the A33? Surprisingly enough, it will instead be by the railway line and so not near the A33. Just north of the Kirtons Farm Road bridge. So, how far is the walk to the ground...

Hooper had a trial with Reading and we didn't take him on. OK, so it was in 2005, but the journalist could have written something like "Reading reject Gary Hooper..."

Re: Next Season's Squad.

Anyone know what Xabi Alonso said about tackling? Started off by saying that Carrick and older Scholes would have had better careers if the English weren't so obsessed with blood-and-thunder tackling, then this: "I don't think tackling is a quality. It is a recurso , something you have to reso...

Re: The Non - League thread

I presume every close season there will need to be a complete review of the clubs comprising each non league step with a view to maintaining some sort of equilibrium which means those on the border lines e.g. Marlow/Bracknell/Fleet/Met Police could find themselves swapping regularly between Souther...

Re: Bftg- Wigan (h)

1st goal - scored in time added on because of Wigan's time-wasting cheating. (And it should probably have been 9 minutes added instead of 5.) 2nd goal - scored following a drop-ball awarded because a disgusting Wigan cheat faked a head injury in order to stop a Reading attack. And Wigan then complai...

Match report was on the club website within about 20 minutes of the end of the game. I figure that Royals and Racers has shamed them into action, and deserves congratuations.

21 February 1872 - first ever game
Reading 0 Reading Grammar School 0

Fans afterwards may well have said that we needed a goalscorer, with the probable 1-2-10 formation clearly not attacking enough.

Well, I've seen him play once. He was atrocious, far worse than any Reading keeper I've seen in the last 20 years. May have improved since.

FT Wolves 1 Royals 2 great win for the U23`s who leap frog Wolves to go back to the top of the league. https://www.flashscore.com/football/england/premier-league-2/standings/ Why are there only 3 play-off places this season, and why are the bottom 2 sides in group 1 highlighted? I assume they`ve ch...

13:00 Thatcham Town v Melksham Town - reportedly ALL TICKET (according to both clubs' Twitter) :? Officially on safety grounds, but presumably a reaction to the Vase quarter-final last year, which had some trouble that Thames Valley Police later blamed on "Reading FC fans". Melksham alloc...

Re: FA cup 3rd round draw

With our current bunch of useless wasters, we don't want to be anywhere near a non-league side, unless we desire to be lead headline in January. Ideal draw is one that will bring in some money, as that's the only possible positive outcome I can see.
