Re: We will iFollow the Reading on laptop and TV

Anybody trying to watch the full match highlights on the new Royals.tv app? The commentaries for both clubs are playing simultaneously and there seems to be no way to choose which one, or turn it off completely.

Re: Royals on the Box/Internet Thread

I paid to watch the Bolton game in iFollow. Couldn't hear the commentary either until I switched to headphones. Needs improving I had headphones on, could barely hear Tim, and Mick was better but still too quiet. Last season they seemed to have the options there to choose between home, away and off...

Re: Royals on the Box/Internet Thread

After the first weeks games coverage on iFollow was so good, since then nothing but problems. They really need to sort out the audio volume. It is almost worthless as you can barely hear Tim and Mick. Either turn down the ambient or turn up the commentary, one or the other is needed as it's useless ...

Re: Royals on the Box/Internet Thread

Nor working for me either. Heard a refund is on the way. Yeah, that'll be enough for a pint in the White Horse.... if it ever materialises. It's really disgraceful. First iFollow game of season (Derby was on Sky), and they have probs already. Any and all bugs should be worked out by now. The...

Re: Royals on the Box/Internet Thread

Also, the video stream had BBC Berkshire commentary. Result if that keeps up for the whole season. Just need to start winning some games. That's an big improvement. Had to watch iFollow without commentary last season as it was impossible to sync the two tabs I'd have open for audio and video. Last ...

Re: Royals on the Box/Internet Thread

Somehow I managed to watch that on iFollow... I'm in Nepal, and I don't want to pay £110 for the live match, so turned on a VPN and managed to buy a month pass in the UK for £4.99 which includes live audio but not live video... I then turned the VPN off and in the iFollow page it showed both audio a...

Re: Royals on the Box/Internet Thread

Hi, have a VPN service with a server in Maidenhead would I be able to listen to Radio Berkshire commentary on the internet No, the whole point in the VPN is to give the illusion you are outside the UK which iFollow is for. Not quite. A VPN can give the illusion of being in many different countries....

Green That's some dedication.

Can't you go and watch your local side?

Hahaha! You thought Reading were bad last season?

Re: Royals on the Box/Internet Thread

I hope I'm proven wrong, but I'll turn on my VPN in August and pay the £45 for radio commentary (although I do think this is a high price also). About a month's average salary in Nepal :!: Most wouldn't even earn that. I don't 'earn' anything as I'm a volunteer anyway. £110 was definitely a stretch...

Re: Royals on the Box/Internet Thread

John Smith Is there a delay if you watch the game and listen to BBCRB commentary on a separate radio?

Yes, but like said, you can pause the video and try to sync it up. Sadly, the BBCRB broadcast doesn't quite reach Nepal.

Re: Royals on the Box/Internet Thread

Okay, I logged in again with a VPN showing I was now in the UK and see that there are the options of £45 for the year giving everything but the watch live option, or £4.99 monthly which gives exactly the same as the yearly option, but at a saving of 10p ?? I'll go with that one then and maybe miss ...

Re: Royals on the Box/Internet Thread

I've just been into iFollow to see what my options are for next season. Last season I paid for the full package, but didn't really use the 'watch live HD' option for a few reasons: 1. The evening games are too late for me (00:45 BST or 01:45 GMT) 2. Reading were crap... Certainly didn't want to was...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Nottingham Forest (a) sponsored by things can only get better

Last time I looked we were 4 points above the drop zone, did you mistake this forum for twitter? Will 4 points be enough of a cushion with Defeats to Derby, Wolves and Sheff Utd coming up. Tonight’s game was one of the easiest of our run in. Feel safe now eh? To be frank yes - we don’t need your so...

Stranded
Emmer Green Royal IFollow video doesn’t work in Gibraltar

Not on ifollow today as it was the featured live Championship game for international broadcasters.

I'm guessing this is why the full match replay has commentary and highlight clips shown during the game?

engarnememN Hes done. Kaput. Toast.

Hell get another media job somewhere, but it wont be as nightly news anchor.

Lester Holt is doing a fine job in Williams former role and deserves to remain in that role.

Where you joking with that comment? BRIAN Williams, not Ade.

Re: Royals on the Box/Internet Thread

I can't remember the verdict, are cup games shown? Or only commentary? Only radio commentary. Sweet. Probably not gonna wake up for it then. #shitfan Yeah, me too. Waking up at 1am to listen to a game, I don't think so. With it being on BBCRB now and not blocked, I'll set my computer to record the ...
