Youtube tour of the Open day for those who couldn't make it. Looks like it was a fantastic outing and really good they've done this for those who couldnt make it or didnt qualify. https://youtu.be/fohac5eBxQI?si=pRgQFd1bs06KSCyk Nice to see the club make a genuine effort with it's content. Re: Membership

Makes sense to me. As an extremely casual home game goer, this was one more barrier to entry. Was a ballache to sign up, and kept lapsing. The membership was a one off so once you purchased one, that was it. Given it was only £5 from memory for adults and had been in place for 20+ years it would be...

Re: Membership

I don't think it has been communicated particularly well but no real beef with this. Makes the process of buying a ticket easier with a non matchday/matchday price without the need to apply a membership discount. Loyalty points are still in place and as the article says if you buy tickets for x amou...

Re: The generic transfer thread

Liverpool played Newcastle brilliantly. You can either keep Isak and we'll go after Ekitike or sell us Isak and you are free to take Ekitike. Surely if you are Newcastle you cash in on Isak who has 3 years left on a contract he won't renew and go for the younger player.

Re: Spurs friendly

Royals and Racers Reading buses have said ALL football buses running on Saturday- i expected just the F 1’s to be running- so must have sold a fair few match tickets.

Nicely reminded to say The Nags Head will be running a matchday bus to and from the pub.

Re: 2025-26 Stadium Car Park Info

New changes for the new campaign From the start of the 2025/26 season, a new operator will take over the management of the car park next to Reading Football Club. The car park has previously been leased to the club for use by supporters on matchdays and Park & Ride users. With that lease now ex...

Re: Bearwood Open Day

I will echo what was said previously. Went on the 5:30pm tour and despite it being very hot I found it really interesting and genuinely mad that our club has the infrastructure in place. Brilliantly well organised by the club. Had a lengthy chat with Joe Jacobson who came across very well. Plenty o...

Re: Bearwood Open Day

Such a good day and excellently organised. Fair play to the players. Some of those queues for photos were soooooo long lol. Met so many of them, along with staff and management. All really friendly and happy to give up their time. Ended up with a pint in the garden area before the bus left too. Loo...

Re: Fixtures 2025/26

Just the 2 fixtures moved (of which one was on Sky anyway)

Huddersfield (H) - Saturday, 9th August was 3pm now 12:30pm

Bolton (A) - Was Tuesday, 19th August 8pm, now Wednesday, 20th August 8pm. Still on Sky but proper coverage rather than red button job.
