Re: Explain like I'm five: our FFP crisis

Its incredibly sad to see our spend compared to Norwich. Need to take in perspective here that this graph shows wages against income. Norwich still has parachute payments so their wage bill will be higher than ours, just not compared to their income. Its bloody sad compared to Leeds then. As much a...

Re: Next seasons kit choice?

Please don't be some rubbish ugly no name Chinese betting company. It's going to be isn't it? I actually didn't think Carabao was that bad in the great scheme of things. Yeah, I quite liked it too. Better than Waitrose, Kyocera and Westcoast. Your kidding? The Carabao logo is an abortion of a logo ...

Re: Next Season's Squad.

I agree on him being a cheaper option, but 9 in 27 (+2) in the Eredivisie is hardly prolific - joint 26th top scorer in the league and 52nd for goals per 90 (min 10 games). 1.8 shots per 90 also suggests a very different style of play to Oliveira, who averages over double that across his career. Pu...

Charlton being back on the card is a big plus.

That’s a treck for me. Should do Brentford.

Yup, Brentford is a very easy one to do, even if it’s midweek.

When is their new stadium open? It looks brilliant.

Re: Rival Watch

Slaven Bilic on his way to West Brom - very good appointment Garry Monk on his way out of Birmingham if reports are to be believed I hope Bilic does well. When we sacked Clement (actually I think even before we hired Clement) I said I wanted Bilic as our manager. I still feel bad for Darren Moore t...

Re: Nations League & Friendlies

Yup. In rugby, you can hear what the ref is saying. In tennis, you get a certain number of appeals. Wouldn’t know how it operates in cricket but both of those methods work better than the one in football, where fans are kept in the dark for up to 5 minutes Why should fans be kept informed? They are...

Re: Nations League & Friendlies

FFS give it time. VAR is the way forward, Too many mistakes are made in games by match officials. So what if players celebrate a goal and it’s then scratched off because there’s been a foul. As long as VAR means the right decisions are being made more than pre VAR then it’s worth it. Zip mate, it g...

They used to wear those colours away when they managed to be champions of England. But that was oh so long ago now....seems like decades......oh wait, it is.

Re: Nations League & Friendlies

Please Please abandon VAR, it’s beyond awful But, but some on here are saying it just needs tweaking and a bit of time...... Personally its a load of shite, they should just use an extra pair of eyes and if they get a decision wrong then just accept it. Its been like that for 150 years. And what's ...

Re: Nations League & Friendlies

England have a massive weakness. They just don't have the players to put their foot on the ball and get a grip when their under pressure. Unless they can do that they will never win a major tournament.

England 1 up and not a single post on here. What’s up with you lot! You finally have a team to be proud of and not a bloody whisper. Their all watching it on illegal feeds ànd if they break off to come on here it will freeze :D Another useless point of having VAR. Dutch player bought down in box an...

Re: Nations League & Friendlies

Anyone see that mental VAR decision in the Portugal game? Stonewall pen for Portugal, but ref brings it all the way back for a ridiculously soft pen for Switzerland at the other end. Madness. Welcome to the new football...where confusion will reign supreme and goal celebrations will be half hearted...
