Re: Pathetic stewarding

I couldn't go on Saturday and lent my ST to one of my best mates who is a big Newcastle fan. (he's not big in size you understand) He was given clear instructions not to be an ar5e if they scored, but clap if he wanted to. He said he had a great time among Reading fans who'd sussed him out but were ...

Re: Derby, see you next Tuesday, at home - predictions

Jackson Corner I can't even remember Derby winning or even drawing a match at EP or Mad Stad? They must hate playing us we don't just beat them we usually batter them. Hopefully this will continue 2-1.

Re: Silence for Robert Sebbage?

Very sad that the young lad died. However I expect to die at some point and so will the many thousands of supporters we currently have. Are the club opening the door for every one one of us to have a minutes silence when that happens. (As it happens I wouldn't want one) Yes the lad was a big fan, an...

Am I missing something here, you could bet on both sides to win and make money no matter who wins.

Re: Message from FourFourTwo - HNA? Campaign

Is asking for the ' best ' players ever to represent the club. Thus by definition I'd have to go with 06/07 with apologies to Robin, Ritchie, Trevor, Jimmy, Mick and many others who did a grand job at the lower levels. Marcus, Murts, Sonks, ingi, Shorey, Little, Sids, Harps, Hunt, Doyle & Kits H...

Re: Where has £3.95 million gone?

The chairman hasnt lost a single penny on the club , everything he paid out he has got back or still owns what was bought with the money ie the stadium. Infact he has made millions out of his venture with Reading football club. Feel free to put your hand in your own pocket then with returns like th...

We sit in front of 'orgasm woman' every time there's a bit of 'excitement' on pitch it's 'yes, yes yes' or 'no, no, no' or 'oh'oh'oh'.

In front we have people who think their seats are reclining, leaning so far back that I dream of jumping up suddenly with a hefty knee to their head.

Re: Favourite season opener of recent times?

Quite a few good ones here to which I'd add Exeter away 1989 lovely day - Senior, Moran, Maskell all scored, won 3-1, best performance of a pretty rotten season. That was actually 1990 - I remember it for John Peel giving out the scores at the festival. Not as good as 1988 or 1991/92, but good time...

Re: Refwatch: Reading v Plymouth Argyle

Most refs would have booked Griffin for creaming their winger in the first few mins and from where I was (north) it also looked like Shane should have been booked for leading with his forearm. Was somewhat surprised to get the pen given his earlier decisions. All in all a very poor performance by th...
