Re: Bearwood Open Day

Very good afternoon out, only downside was that the first team were completely gone by the 15:30 slot, thought some might have done their training later so everyone had a chance to meet the first team.

Re: Squad for 2025-2026

So, Kelvin E - contract expired 11 days ago, he and his agent are still negotiating the contract. At what point should the club draw a line and say goodbye? It's beneficial to us to keep the contract on the table since any club then has to agree compensation with us. I get confused here. Isn’t ther...

Yeah, would have welcomed him as a back up option but not fussed about missing out on this one.

Re: Squad for 2025-2026

Royalwaster Luton likely to be the new Birmingham this season unless things go badly Oxford for them!

Considering they still have parachute payments, they'd really have to oxf*rd it up to not at least be in the top 6.

Has Kelvin not signed yet because Couhig said he was improving the Wifi at the Stadium and he took it as an insult?

Re: Squad for 2025-2026

Which is precisely what they didn’t want to be. So they left at the end of their contract. That’s not us “losing” them. Yeah, that's how I see it as well. Whatever the situation and perhaps it's arrogance on my part, but if we were offering the same as Exeter or Lincoln and we should be easily able...

Re: Squad for 2025-2026

That's not really true. We've lost Craig and Wareham to rivals when they could have been good squad options Which is precisely what they didn’t want to be. So they left at the end of their contract. Re: Squad for 2025-2026

retro royal So Matty J is on a season long loan deal, can we still not sign players for a fee ?

There's probably a loan fee involved, something we haven't been able to offer while embargoed which has severely hamstrung us in the loan market.

Considering his 2 loans at Championship level were less than stellar and at 22 I'd expect Man City to be looking to move him on right?

Actually surprised to find out he's only 22, about to turn 23, thought he'd been bouncing around longer than that so could still develop a bit as a player.

Re: Squad for 2025-2026

Happy with Rushesha to be a squad option, main issue with him last season was he essentially got thrust into a starting position, out of position due to injuries.

Royal Monkey Never heard of him ???
Age, position ? Are we linked or in definite talks ??

27, not sure on position, wikipedia lists him as a forward, some as an attacking midfielder, looks like he primarily plays left wing.

Not sure what transfer fee Knibbs would command but he's only 26 and we're actually under sensible ownership so I'd hope we'd get close to his true value.

It’s a pretty close run thing Definitely gonna start muting a lot of annoying Reading fans on Twitter, I did start following a bunch back r...

My parents got me a PS2 with Final Fantasy X for Christmas the year it released, I think I was 12, anyway my Dad would have no idea who Tid...

One club just won a European trophy and the other survived a near death experience.

Before they won the EL, it was a pretty shit season.
