Re: VAR

I just find it funny that VAR is meant to eliminate controversial decisions and endless debate over referee calls and instead it has just replaced it with some different and even more controversial decisions and even more debate. I called it ages ago. Football has too many grey areas for this system...

Re: How many players will we sign this window?

Was tempted to make another thread but for fear of being slated (again) I wanted to ask if we don't sign anyone will we stay up/where will we finish? The pessimist in me is feeling like we are on an inevitable journey to League One sooner or later, or do we have to ride out another season of scrapp...

Re: Explain like I'm five: our FFP crisis

For a club like us that hasn't really spent much, we don't have massive wage players, haven't splashed out tonnes (apart from donkey Aluko but our net spend can't be that much as we;ve also sold) how come we find ourselves in this massive FFP BS? we have spent loads, 17 million in an aborted attemp...

Re: League Cup 1st Round

Wallsy Give us O*ford at home, please. We are long overdue a local derby, against that scummy club.

I don't really feel anything towards Oxford or Swindon tbh. We've been above them for so many years that some of our supporters will have never seen us play them.

Are Real in danger of breaching FFP at all? Or are they covered by their huge commercial income?

Re: Fixtures for 2019/2020

You've been here longer than me - last time we played Charlton I got SWR from Winnersh to Waterloo, the Jubilee line, and then a bus. That's still the route both my travel apps say to use from Waterloo. Apparently it's a 40-minute walk if you don't get the bus. I'd appreciate any local knowledge yo...

Re: Celtic Eye Moore

Contrary to some people on this forum, having a differing opinion doesn’t make you deluded. There are reasons Moore would want to stay at Reading, there are reasons Moore would move to Celtic. I think he’d try and stay here and aim for the Premier League (he’s well liked, he’s got a young family, h...

Re: Celtic Eye Moore

To be honest, if we are seriously thinking that one of our players wouldn't swap bottom half Championship football and year-on-year relegation fights for European football and consistent silverware, then we are pretty deluded as a fanbase. Contrary to some people on this forum, having a differing o...

Re: Celtic Eye Moore

How many players have gone from the championship to the SPL and then onto better things? Dembélé in recent years is at the top of my head but I can’t think of anyone else. Well, a certain Virgil Van Dijk did alright for himself moving to the SPL, from a pretty average league. Shame I specified cham...

Once you get used to the slower pace, they are really good games.

Obviously social media is full of misogynistic narrow-minded nonsense.
