Re: Next season

Looking at the teams coming down Fulham, Cardiff, Huddersfield, and those coming up Luton, Barnsley +1 do not look as strong as last season Hopefully we can at least get mid table Cardiff are not yet relegated. They could beat a Crystal Palace side with nothing to play for and anything is possible ...

Re: BFTG - Baggies

Great match and a great result for us. I feared the worst when we lost both our main strikers within 10 minutes when we had already started to play rather sloppily. But we tightened up our game and I thought Loader played well as did GMac although both missed chances to score. Full marks too for the...

Re: Rival Watch

Elm Park Kid That's all she wrote guys. Rotherham aren't making up 5 points in 3 games.

And Rotherham have 2 home games and 1 away game against the same three teams that we are facing!

Royals and Racers 10 men Wigan in front 2-1

They've only had 2 shots on target! Bugger!

Re: Rival Watch

Mid Sussex Royal Keeps Brum kind of in the mix though for their game with Rotherham on Monday

But we don't want them still in the mix (even 'kind of') when we face them for the last game of the season!

Re: BFTG - Brentford

A welcome 3 points but it was nail-biting stuff for the last 20 minutes! Lovely Swift-esque ball from Barrow to set up Meite for a well-taken first goal and very poor defending from Brentford to allow Meite to amble into a position to have a free header from Baker's good cross for the second. Martin...

Re: SPECULATION - Danny Williams

Many Nobbers expressed the view that our side went downhill when Al Habsi and Williams left us after the 2016/17 season. We appear to have found a good replacement for Al Habsi although Martinez is only here on loan. What Williams brought to the team was energy and purpose, attributes that we still ...

Re: Ex Players

URZZZZ Sean Morrison?
Not sure where Piazon/Oxford are
Bacuna :D

I forgot about Morrison and Bacuna but not sure I'd change anyone for them. Piazon spent a few seasons on loan to Fulham doing quite well but now plays abroad somewhere. Oxford is playing in Germany.

Re: Ex Players

For no reason whatsoever (except having too much time on my hands), I looked at the possibility of creating a full team of ex-Reading players (including loanees) from the current Premiere League squads. I make no claims of greatness for this side but here is what I came up with. Can you do better? A...

Re: BFTG Leeds Home

We deserved to lose, i'm not sure 3-0 was a fair reflection. I agree with that but, on the other hand, Leeds missed at least two guilt edged chances in the second half so it could, and should, have been 5 - 0 although Ayling should have been sent off for a nailed on second bookable offence. We didn...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Wigan Athletic (h) sponsored by Nicky Forster

Just watched the Sky highlights. The total joy and togetherness of the players and management staff was great to see. There is spirit in this side and with back-to-back wins maybe we can play with a bit more confidence now.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Ipswich Town (a) sponsored by Noel Hunt

Old Man Andrews You are completely clueless. Rotherham were perfectly ok, far from rubbish.

In fact so far from rubbish that they lead Blackburn 1 - 0 at the moment!
