Re: BFTG Leeds Home

I still haven't forgiven Leeds for Michael Brown breaking Jem Karacan's ankle a few years ago. I know I shouldn't wish bad thing upon people but I keep hoping that one of their players twists his own ankle really badly.

Re: Lump on Reading to finish top half

Hound You watch them stink the place out and come 19th now ...

18th, with the fourth lowest number of goals scored. If I still lived in Reading I could imagine being more entertained by women's tennis or the Henley regatta.

Deadlock Kinell, that was close from Brown!

Re: MATCHWATCH : Burnley (h) sponsored by Andre Bikey's shirt

After his excellent performance against Wolves U18s, it's good to see Josh Barrett making the bench today. He looked really good in that Youth Cup match, always in the right place at the right time.

Re: Wolves (H) Match Thread

If today's Reading first XI played a Leicester City first XI which included Vardy, Huth and Mahrez, what would the score be after 90 minutes?

Re: Derby (a) Match Thread - Sponsored by Nick Blackman

Sa and Quinn must be slightly injured (still on the bench but not in the team). Otherwise, this looks like a strong team. I especially like the back four; Taylor, Cooper, Ferdinand and Gunther. They'll need to be strong to stop a rash of goal.

Re: Would you cash in on Blackman?

And where would we be if you take away his 10 goals? A "team player" in the same position would have scored more goals and provided more assists, and they would continue to do so on a frequent and regular basis. Blackman has always been shite. He just had a lucky streak which is over now....

Re: The where the F*ck did it all go wrong thread

... the surge in anti Clarke sentiment will finish him anyway. That surge seems unstoppable now since the Forest game, it won't be long I pray. +1 for both of these points of view. The sooner Clarke goes, the better - even if we have to pay for him to leave. We can kiss goodbye to any dreams of pro...

Re: QPR (H) Match Thread - Sponsored by Colin

Am I the only one getting a lot of interference on the Player? I get 5 seconds of Tim Dellor's dulcet tones, then a robotic interference/encryption pattern. Some might say I'm not missing much, I suppose.

** EDIT ** Seems to be only on Android, Chrome on my PC seems to be okay.

Re: On the train BFTG

Perhaps we need these guys?

They can't be much worse than the current lot we've got playing for us :(

I drive by here most days, and keep wondering what happened to the solid units we had in defence and attack back in September and October.

Re: BFTG Bolton(H)

If Blackman is behaving petulantly again, is it time to start with Sá and Vydra up front, and maybe bring Blackman on up the middle in the second half? This assumes, of course, that the former two are both fit.

Re: CONFIRMED - Michael Hector to Chelsea

Can't really understand those saying "send him back".... It wouldn't be so bad if Hector were playing as well as he did at the end of last season, or at the CONCACAF Gold Cup, or even the beginning of this Championship campaign, but lately he's been pants. Cooper has done a good job when ...

Re: CONFIRMED - Michael Hector to Chelsea

... Lolly at Chelsea hoping he'll save their defence. He hasn't been anywhere near his best for about a month either. Send him back! We'll have better options soon. It would be different if he was on form right now but, like Ian Royal said, he's not been anywhere near his best for more than a month...

Re: BFTG Bolton(H)

No love for Lucas Piazon? From the highlights that I saw he looked like he was industrious and energetic. He has scored 3 goals now in ten league matches, almost none of which (if any) he's played a full 90+ minutes in, mostly being subbed on or off. That's not bad. And lately, he's been better than...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Bolton (h) sponsored by Steve Clarke apolog

After Blackman's reputation rehabilitation this season (shite last season, top scorer this season) and Al-Habsi's reputation rehabilitation (nicknamed Ali "Al-Dropsi" by some, but three spectacular saves today), is there hope for Hal Robson-Kanu to come back from injury and mend his reputa...

Hopefully, Hector and McShane have improved in the last two weeks otherwise we'll continue to leak goals and Bolton will end up as 'surprise' winners.
