Re: MATCHWATCH : Luton Town (h)

Every game is like a cup final now - something to play for - and yep it starts tonight. Come Saturday that team is starting to look a whole lot different and more back to the Reading way. Lets hope Pauno uses this as his last chance saloon. Doesn’t mean shit. We had quite a few “must win games” las...

At least doing so badly with Ghana means returning to our total shit show won't be disorienting for them.

Re: Liam moore

What an absolute shambles.

I wouldn’t be surprised if he sees out his contract with us out of spite. Not like anyone decent will offer him half what he's on.

Also a nice little opening to sue the shit out of us for constructive dismissal.

All because our owner is an absolute clown.

Re: Rival Watch

Surely the defence is just "well, you could've won a couple more matches over the course of a 46 game season lads" Suspect that won’t go down to well unfortunately for Derby Yeah, we cheated and fraudulently covered it up but you should have just been better isn't what I consider a winnin...

Re: Liam moore

The problem is I'm not actually sure what you're trying to say. Your original post said that under Moore's captaincy the players refused to come out for the traditional and promised lap of honour after our 4-0 defeat against Ipswich because they would rather sulk and then referred to "great ca...

Re: Rival Watch

Hound I've not read in loads of depth, but it seems the real issue is the claims from Boro and Wycombe, as they have no idea what the new owners may be liable for, if anything. Very difficult to sell the club on that basis

Yeah, but for that I think they'd be damaged but ultimately fine.

Re: Liam moore

This has been a total PR disaster, both for the club (especially Dai) & Moore. Could’ve let him go through the back door, and just stripped him of the captaincy. Instead, we are going to get naff all in transfer fees. Dai was stupid enough to offer him that contract. We could’ve had £12m. Like ...

Re: Liam moore

To which they specifically said that Liam Moore, the captain, did not order the players to go out and see the fans and that this was his decision entirely? :| Try Reading what I said again. Because you're arguing with something I didn't say. The problem is I'm not actually sure what you're trying t...

Re: January Window

Wonder if we've considered bringing back Dorsett? Been a regular at Rochdale. Esp now the Moore saga has happened. Be cheering on the Comoros tonight. Hopefully get Baba and Yiadom on the next plane back and in time for at least the game on 29th if not 22nd. Can we bring him back? With some loans I...

Re: Liam moore

Who said this? Please don't say the stewards either. The people who spoke the fans and went in and asked what the delay was and whether they were coming out. It was made very clear it wasn’t just a delay, but that they weren't intending to do it. To which they specifically said that Liam Moore, the...

Re: Liam moore

Because the manager may have kept them in for a few stern words afterwards. He can't just up sticks and undermine the manager if that wasn't what he ordered them to do, even though it would have been the right thing to do. It was made very clear the players didn't want to come out and do it at all,...

Re: Liam moore

I can't think of what reason the club captain would have to keep the players in the dressing room for an hour afterwards, but I can certainly imagine the manager would given the result, performance and potential consequences. I didn't say he held them in the dressing room. I said he didn’t kick the...

Wasn't it under Moore's captaincy that the players refused to come out and give the fans the traditional and promised lap of honour for over an hour at the end of the season when we lost 4-0 to Ipswich because they would rather sulk about being shit? Great captaincy that was. Should have been sayin...

Re: Liam moore

The more I think about it the odder the club statement about Moore is. Presumably they want to force him out this month but what if he cannot find another club. He cannot realistically ever play for RFC again as many fans will be on his back and so we could end up paying his wages for 18 more month...

Re: Liam moore

My Mum knows an ex Leicester player who used to coach him in their youth set up who always bangs on about how great and nice he is.

I imagine he'd be a complete let down to him at this point.

Spot on. Made Bodin look good. Everyone could see this apart from Pauno. Yet he chose him and persisted with him. Who, should he have replaced him with ?
