Pepe the Horseman Hull have sacked Grant McCann.

Very strange after their recent results

New owners probably had it in mind as soon as they took over last week.
Hull players putting everything in to impress = 6 points.

Indeed

Re: Is this collectively, and singularly, the worst Reading team and management ever?

Absolutely not. The Porterfield side was shocking, packed full of aging journeymen fit for the knackers yard and our current behind the scenes issues pale into insignificance compared to those as well. Absolutely the worst team I have seen in nearly 40 years of watching Reading. I've never felt so ...

Re: Club 1871 - the What, When, Where, How, Who & Why Thread

Much better in the last couple of games. The atmosphere was decent yesterday which all things considered is a good effort from the fans.

Re: Relegation

I would anticipate that we need 46-48 points to stay up this year, 24-26 points from 19 games is less than 1.4 points a game, but if recent form is anything to go by even that could be beyond us. We will have a decent run again soon, I`m confident of that, might have to wait till after QPR though. ...

Re: BFTG - Huddersfield

Our first goal was class. Simple, direct football. Tore right through them. Sublime. First two goals were excellent I think that is how Pauno ball works at its best. It just very very rarely does We have scored some smashing goals this season and have had to work hard for them. In stark contrast we...

Re: Injury watch 2021/22

I think Hoilett was our best summer signing. Clever player. He needs to play wide though. I like him. Not seen him enough, needs to stay fit Very up and down, sometimes excellent, sometimes terrible, and that can be in the same half! What I like is the way he creates space for himself. He also offe...

Re: Injury watch 2021/22

Had a hell of a lot of ‘practice’ at Morecambe earlier this season…then they pretty much benched him until his recall. Hasn’t Holden done a few decent loan spells too? (allbeit at non-league level) Holden seems to have done well. Maidenhead was his last loan but Andresson did very well at Exeter an...

Re: Injury watch 2021/22

3points what's happened to Boyce-Clarke? Assumed he'd be the back up keeper rather than Holden

Andresson would be our number two

Hound If they are egg chasers they are probably all about 22 stone though

Far from it. North is a similar physique to Yaks. Halfpenny smaller but very muscular. Lydiate similar.

Re: Injury watch 2021/22

The hammy was why Dann came off against Fulham. Never quite know if it’s a pull or tear as we don’t get told. Just a minor tear/pull he should be back sooner rather than later. Hal and ejaria should be back for QPR. Hoilett and Joao should be fully fit (or as fit as the others prob a better way of ...

Re: Rival Watch

Totally depends with Derby. Their current squad and manager are ok. But if they lose Knight and Lawrence (surely they aren’t allowed to turn down big offers in their current state), or Rooney gets his head turned, it’s a different matter We’ll find out in the next week I suppose. Still not sure how...

We have full-backs who don't have much idea about defending but , in ...

I think it’s indicative of just how shit we’ve been recently, that people can come away from yesterday feeling positive. Agreed but we have been so dire that just scoring a goal felt like such a relief yeste...

Laurent clearly doesn’t want to be here anymore. What the f*ck are you on about? A committed player and last seasons Laurent would have made more of an effort to stop that shot, sliding in - but it’s almost like he baulked the challenge https://twitter.com/skybetchamp/status/1485203436987633668?s=2...

Forget Derby

We don’t that yet. Let’s see what happens next week. We certainly need them to be decimated though.

Re: Rival Watch

windermereROYAL We had a 15 point advantage over Derby . we shouldn`t need to hope they sell their best players.

I know we did but they are organised and fit with players fighting for the team. We are a disorganised, unfit mess.
