Re: Difficulties away from home

Weirdly, we used to have similar repeated difficulties with one of our own players. Week in, week out we needed to remind him of the spelling of his own name. Weirder still, half way through reminding him, we assured him that he already knew, sure in fact! Spelt it out to him one more time for good...

Well I would've thought all my years on here would have earned an element of trust from fellow nobbers.

Re: £5 Comic Relief Red Reading Footy shirt

Picked up a dozen (8 adult , 4 child) this morning. (E-BAY link to follow) The way I look at it , they'll probably fetch about £40 for the adult and £20 for children's size on average. So £400 minus my initial outlay of £60. So £340 profit. I'll give half of that to Comic Relief and pocket the othe...

Re: Royals on the Box/Internet Thread

Only scheduled midweek games are available in the UK via iFollow. This is being treated as a Saturday game, so only available to international viewers. So if you are in the UK, get a VPN or video call someone living abroad who can stick you in front of their telly* *this is not an offer. have you t...

Re: South Stand Singers For Sunderland (H)

No. The club leading this initiative would have seen it flop in the first place. Not because the club wouldn't know what their doing, but because supporters don't like being told what to do by their club. You, OMA and JS, a majority does not make. What on Earth are you talking about? See if you can...

Re: South Stand Singers For Sunderland (H)

Would it not have made more sense for the club to have just come out and said 'right, this is the new designated singing stand'? The fact that this has had to come about through the supporters themselves seems to have left a bad taste in the majority of Reading fans mouths who instead of considerin...

Re: BFTG Fulham

I'm surprised that Bacuna has got off so lightly in these comments. We have serious injury problems with several major players missing; we have 4 (probably 3 because I can't see us getting anything at Cardiff) games to save our season and avoid relegation; the game against Fulham is in the 3rd minu...

Re: BFTG Fulham

We were still keen to play the ball out from the back, but instead of the final turn home and pass back we’re sticking it in the channels for Barrow to chase and Aluko to watch.

Make no mistake that we still had some dicey moments that were down to playing around at the back too much.

Re: BFTG Fulham

Ticktock Anyway.. a relatively enjoyable game tbf. Our chance to get something out of it seemingly came and went with the 2 blocked shots a couple of minutes before their goal, which totally knocked the stuffing out of us. Barrow looked very dangerous in the first 30. Aluko was only ever a danger to...
