Re: Champions League & Europa League 2018/19

The point I am making is that the referee's decision is final. This one is a real 50/50, in which case you really have to accept the referee's point of view and move on. Last nights I can accept. But when you have scenario's such as the Carabao Cup 1st Leg Semi final between Spurs and Chelsea where...

Re: Champions League & Europa League 2018/19

Last nights handball was debatable though. It wasn't clear and obvious. And as proven this season VAR has got decisions incorrect as well. Re: Champions League & Europa League 2018/19

Yeah. Spurs are definitely made of tougher stuff these days but still unable to win a trophy at present. They're a bit more subtle in their Spursyness these days.

Re: Champions League & Europa League 2018/19

genome Every team with a 1st leg advantage got knocked out this week, apart from Spurs... #bottlers

Was good from Spurs. Doesn't mean much if they don't win it though or fail to get in the top 4. Bit too early to insinuate they're not bottlers.

Re: Champions League & Europa League 2018/19

Don't get me wrong I'm delighted PSG have gone out but that is an absolutely horrendous decision  Very, very debatable one. I thought VAR was there to clear up any clear and obvious decisions? When you look at the replay it isn't clear and obvious. That's the shambles of it all. I'm not a fan ...

being a shithouse is what makes him a great player?? I think he is also great, but I put that down to factors such as his athleticism, football knowledge & tactical awareness. One of his many strengths. Multifaceted if you will. you said 'that's what makes him such a great player', not 'that's ...

Re: More rule fiddling

In addition there's talk of when substitutions are made that the player being substituted must leave the filed of play by the nearest touchline to try and cut down the amount of time wasting by slow walks across th epitch. I endorse this one. Not saying I necessarily have an issue with it but it wi...

Re: Man CitHEHEHE

I didn't think it was a penalty for City. The Ream one, I've seen them given and was quite surprised it wasn't given considering how far his arm was out. :| Ream's arm was about 2 inches from his body and didn't move. The ball was smashed at his arm from two feet away. Never a penalty. Kes. You've ...

Remembering the days when a team had an 8 points lead at the beginning of April, with 6 games to go, and still lost the title race.

Re: LOLiverpooLOL - Next Season

I've not been that impressed by Citeh this week, there's still plenty of time Kes, those previous Chelsea games were when the team was still playing for Sarri, I don't think yesterday's performance will concern anyone, first away goals of the year wasn't it? No. Chelsea scored 2 away at Malmo iirc.

Silver Fox

Silver Fox That's the last tough fixture out of the way and Citeh are only 1 point ahead, it's all still up for grabs

Spurs and Chelsea still to play

That's what I said

Liverpool have played Chelsea twice and are yet to beat them. A draw and a loss.
