Re: Next seasons kit choice?

Let’s just hope RFC ask for no plain back panel. Macron love a plain panel on the backs of their hooped shirts. Puma nailed it with the faded hoops at the back!

Re: Generic clubs in financial crisis Thread

Bolton could be in for a -20 points deduction next season.

-12 for administration which is rumoured could be filed tomorrow and funded by the Davies Foundation, and there could be -8 for not fulfilling their fixture against Brentford.

Popcorn time!

Re: STs for season 2019/2020

I don’t mind if ST prices increase a little bit. The club is always fair with pricing and we clearly need extra revenue, but I do want to see stadium sponsorship this summer. That can bring in an extra £1m a season. Will make a huge difference even if it means a loan we couldn’t otherwise afford.

Birmingham fans not happy they were outsung by “tinpot” Reading. We’re making a habit of upsetting the away fans. Lovely stuff!

Weren’t the academy supposed to be by last xmas? This really is dragging along, especially as we were told the Chinese made some changes of their own to put their stamp on it, yet we haven’t been told or shown what those changes are, or received any visual updates on the building work.

Sold out. Great effort, well done. We’ll be in Y26 hoping to add to the noise and drown out the Brummies.

It sounds like the unreserved seating will continue next season as well. Many see this is one of the draws to the South Stand as you can always stand with your friends etc.

It really has given us back the missing fun eminent at home games.

Manchester United and Arsenal are reportedly both eyeing up the potential transfer of highly-rated young Reading goalkeeper Coniah Boyce-Clarke. The 16-year-old shot-stopper has impressed at the Madejski Stadium, having become a regular for the club’s Under-23 side this season. https://www.football...

Re: Next Season's Squad.

Good to hear Jose has turned Novakovich’s loan club down regarding another loan and said the striker is not for sale. Interesting summer ahead for our younger players!

If Oliveira does come in as well then I think we’ll almost certainly see the back of Baldock and Jon Dadi.

Re: The Danny Loader conundrum

You can see there's been progression with Danny. He needs to work hard in the gym this summer and get stronger, and start learning to use his body to defend the ball and make a nuisance of himself, but he's finding space now and just needs a few goals to find that confidence.

There was a very “heated” meeting between all the Championship CEO’s yesterday at The City Ground, led by Steve Gibson of Middlesborough who wants three clubs investigated for manipulating their books to avoid breaching FFP rules. Those three clubs escape me now but dot include Reading, however cons...

Re: Club 1871 - the What, When, Where, How, Who & Why Thread

Phenomenal success. It just needed that feel-good factor to return to the club to get the numbers up. We’ve enjoyed being part of it for the most part. Difficult to give up our season tickets in Y25 but the atmosphere is a big part of our match day enjoyment, so it’s become a no brainier really. Alr...
