Had very shiny boots but that's about all I noticed of his performance on Saturday

Re: Rumour - Karleigh Osborne

I know one of the coaches at Brentford he coaches the U18's part-time and also now helps with the Sunday league team I play for. I asked him today about Osbourne and he said the reserve game set up for today was actually so Brentford could look at our younger players with a view of them going there...

Super Kevin Bremner! C'mon C'mon do the Karleigh Osbourne with me

You are going to have to learn that there is no "U" in Osborne. People have been excommunicated from the Griffin Park Grapevine for this grevious error.

Re: Rumour - Karleigh Osborne

Yes, I have seen him play. Good young player, composed, willing to put his body on the line - reminds me a bit of a young Sonko but better, but can't get near their first team atm. Would rather have Leon Legge FWIW He's "Injured" You can have Leon Legge if you give us Tabby back :D Is thi...

His big brother is a pretty good keeper!

Good that he will have some competition as the Isle Of Wight's number 1 keeper

Anytime that you don't want your benefactor amy more then feel free to send him the short distance up the M4 to where he would be appreciated.

Where would you be without him?

Re: next league one manager to go

my uncle is a Brentford fan and he said the fans turned on him weeks ago. Strange that one i thought he was doing ok. Despite a decent budget by league 1 standards, the standard of football has been dire at times this season only the cup runs kept Scott in a job for this long. Bizarre team selectio...

As Hamer looks like he is coming back to you, can you please send Tabby by return post as you don't seem to be playing with him at the moment?

Re: New contract for Hamer

Hamer does not measure up to the loanee that we had from Arsenal last season Wojciech Szczesny but the few would. He is keeping Richard Lee out of the team who has been excellent when given a chance. Having had a chance to settle in Hamer is a dependable League 1 keeper - but maybe no more. He has c...

Re: Hamer

Hamer had a decent match in Brentford's 1-0 win over Sheffield Wednesday shown on Sky today. He made a couple of decent saves, but wasn't really put under too much pressure. (Nicky Weaver made one outstanding save for Wednesday). Hamer will have done his cuse no harm by keeping a clean sheet in a t...

Re: Hamer

Dunno what the Brentford fans thought of McCarthy but they loved Hamer when he was there season before last. I think he got POTS. Well Hamer would have had to go way downhill from when was last here to be as bad McCarthy was in the couple of games that I saw him play. Mind you neither of them are i...

Re: Alex McCarthy

As we just signed him on loan how does rate vs Hamer and Anderson? Not as good yet, but potentially better than both. He is only 20 and hopefully will go far, but is behind Hamer and Andersen in the pecking order at the moment. Don't you ever buy your own goalkeepers? Not good ones it would seem! :...

Based on having seen all the condenters for promotion except Huddersfield, I think that you will be visiting Carrow Road, The New Den and either the County Ground or the Valley next season. Why? Are they getting promoted to the Premier League as well???   I totally agree with Nor...
