Re: #SellBeforeWeDai (to someone fit and proper)“ supporters action group

Let’s hope the campaign is coming to an end. Interesting* that throughout the whole thing that there were the usual suspects on here sneering (whilst doing fcuk all obviously) at SBWD. I didn’t always agree with everything they did but on balance I think they were effective at getting the message ou...

Pepe the Horseman
Green TBF we pass the baton on at that point, albeit we're still invested supporters from the sidelines.

We take the Portsmouth approach. Ignore anyone else in trouble and go, leaving a trail of shitty mattresses, rubbish and dead dogs behind.

Re: Selles In

Great stuff. I do worry that we are not as far from the relegation places as the article suggests, especially with any more points deductions. But the article gives me confidence we can survive on merit. I was at the Cambridge game, it was very impressive. OTOH if we do survive, the thousands of di...

Re: New Kits 2019/20

It's an homage to our 1966 training kits. Anyone who finds this genuinely annoying/offensive/troubling should be locked in a small cupboard, forever. Dear me. Of all the 'rows' this 'kit row' is one of the most pathetic I think I've ever read about. Guess some England fans are proud of the country ...

SouthDownsRoyal
From Despair To Where? So that's why he joined the Cheltenham forum to whinge about Dale Vince.

He’s joined the Cheltenham forum? How do you know?

The Bolton Nuts lot were talking about it. The Cheltenham forum banned him for being a tiresome, trolling oaf.

meanwhile we dont have any mods who do anything. Pathetic.

It isn't as bad as that C. Ronaldo statue, but this one of Kane looks like he's got the longest face in the world. https://ichef.bbci.co.uk/news/976/cpsprodpb/6D68/production/_132980082_jesscomp3.jpg.webp Looks like Wayne Linekar in the last one. It's Max Headroom. I mean I cant sculpt but I reckon...

Re: TAKEOVER *NOT* CONFIMRED

Presumably with the (expected) Labour majority post-election this will help move things along quicker/have more positive backing from the MPs Labour do love a quango or two… They call it creating jobs….. A regulator will just add to costs - and maintain the status quo - and create another layer of ...

Re: TAKEOVER *NOT* CONFIMRED

Would you say it’s gotten too personal between you and GWL, Leon? It seems every time he posts (and often when he doesn’t) you have some negative dig to make. no not really. He posts plenty of times without me commenting at all. In fact I think I've not commented on any of his other posts in a whil...

Jeez, where have you been? We all came to terms on that ages ago. That's the GWL we all know and love. Turn up, make some patronising remarks designed to impress us with his wisdom whilst stating the mostly obvious with a few random grenades designed to keep us "interested". Would you say...

Re: TAKEOVER *NOT* CONFIMRED

People would be hailing Dai as brilliant if he had spent £200m, got us promoted to the PL, not fallen foul of FFP. But the system isn't sustainable if the difference between judging something successful or a failure comes down to whether or not you pull off a massive gamble. You can't build a susta...

Re: TAKEOVER *NOT* CONFIMRED

if hes converted £200m of dodgy money previously stuck in china to £30m of his own money freely usable outside of china it sounds like a good outcome for him I mean, he could have done exactly the same thing any number of ways. The Reading fanbase will eventually have to come to terms with the fact...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Cambridge United (h)

An excellent performance. Cambridge didn't press us like Wycombe did and we just rang rings around them. Thought Savage benefited from having the space to play and did very well. Both him and Wing's movement was better than the last few games I've seen and we looked consistently fluid and dangerous.

Re: #SellBeforeWeDai (to someone fit and proper)“ supporters action group

A ‘regulator’!!!! It’s such a bizarre response. Just think about what you are saying. Who pays for it (look out for the gravy train) Who decides what they regulate and what they don’t? And what does it mean - another layer of bureaucracy… more cost to fans …. Be careful what you wish for. The FCA a...

Re: TAKEOVER *NOT* CONFIMRED

WestYorksRoyal Lots of Reading fans embarrassing themselves and doubling down on the abuse of Wycombe. I'm not saying they've done this out of the goodness of their heart to save Reading, but it does appear they've struck a mutually beneficial deal.

Re: Wycombe will be culpable.

They’re a business. They’ll be getting an excellent training ground, I assume on the cheap because of our desperation. They owe us nothing. Our club has been absolutely shafted by a series of utter tossers, if Wycombe can take advantage of that to give themselves a competitive advantage, good luck ...

Re: TAKEOVER *NOT* CONFIMRED

Flip side would be that Dai has sold the only thing he could. Now the club can't get any sort of ridiculous valuation he wants so he might as well just sell it off at any price and fcuk off. EDIT: What Winst said, As the article said Bolton sold their training ground to Wigan. As has been said no o...
