Re: ifollow

10539.4 Miles Away Surprise surprise ifollow has died.

For all of us who are long time users of this tinpot over priced crap this is as inevitable as a Boris uturn. Twats.

You understate the issue. It's as inevitable as a Boris lie!

Re: ifollow

Has anyone had any luck connecting with VPN from outside UK? It won't connect from the US, even using Vypr VPN.

Bizarre! Seems it blocks VPNs but has allowed direct access from the US with a season ticket promo code.

Re: ifollow

Next test is for our daughter, who is currently marooned in the US in potential immigration limbo, to be able to get iFollow working over there with her promotional code.

Re: ifollow

Pretty much an hour testing different browsers and overcoming all of the issues but finally there! Have a past game playing on iFollow through my laptop and HDMI cable to my TV. I don't think this is going to be a good promotional activity for iFollow! Can't see them attracting many subscribers when...

Re: ifollow

Guys, as time is too short to get a response, here's a copy and paste of ifollow's reply for anyone who, like me, had problems opening up in certain browsers despite correct password: We first suggest clearing the browser cache and cookies from your current web browser settings to see if that resol...

It's worth reading this as it also tells you to check if/how it is working.

Re: ifollow

Personally, I wonder if ifollow will cope at their end with the sudden increase in users during lockdown Yep. They'll need to have invested significantly in additional servers etc to be able to cope with the increased traffic otherwise it's going to be a bit of a shambles. If iFollow cock this up a...

Re: Fans in the stand

Going to find an obscure serial killer, worth a shot. I think you've already got your man in your profile image. Doubtless my warped sense of humour but I would find it quite amusing if Cummings popped up in football stadiums around the country. https://news.images.itv.com/image/file/2226956/img.jpg

Re: Championship to return

The EP website is reporting crowds could well be allowed back into grounds by September https://www.getreading.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/efl-plans-great-reading-championship-18408710 Issue is though is that it’s rumoured that capacity is will be limited to 25% of each stadia so Reading wil...

Re: Reading FC Womens World

Won’t they ruin our pitch though ? No. They play football, not rugby! So they will be doubling the wear on the areas of the pitch that already get the worst ? At least the rugby tended to spread the wear rather than creating bare patches like the football does.... It shouldn't be a problem at all i...

Re: Biggest Reading FC injustices

In keeping with several threads asking people to reminisce, I'm doing one on the worst refereeing injustices we've had. 2 stick in my mind: 1) Jason McAteer not getting sent off for the penalty at Wembley. Yes, Archie should have scored and we should have won anyway, but the comeback was never on i...

Re: The most charismatic/moronic fan we have or have ever had

Is he still alive? I remember him! Still alive, still every game, coat newish and ‘improved’, probably coat v2.0. It must be at least v4. Story goes he saw someone at a game with the same coat and bought it from him because his was getting a bit ( ) shabby   Especially 'bit shabby'!

Re: The most charismatic/moronic fan we have or have ever had

If it's 'Super Fan' then Blackie and his coat(s) has to be in the running. Not sure how he fits with the definition of 'charismatic' though.

Re: Season Ticket Refund?

I does depress me sometimes when fans argue for their own exploitation. +1, this never fails to surprise and :| me. Purely as an industry football is pretty abhorrent, the people running it (from the local FA all the way up to FIFA) equally so. I've been very critical of owners and business managem...

Re: Season Ticket Refund?

Would assume my remaining bundle tickets will rollover to the net season - even thought Ts & Cs say you forfeit them. Goodwill gesture by the club will encourage positive behaviour from supporters - the "tough shit you forfeit" response would make people think twice about spending. It...

Re: Season Ticket Refund?

Anyone asking for a refund should be immediately banned by the club. None of this is their fault and they owe you nothing. It's not the customers fault either and legally, the seller may owe the customers a refund for something they sold but can now not provide. I would hope the club have adequate ...
