Re: Bowen Out.

Not enough wisdom in the side, Adam does help with that aspect although even he is prone to poor decision making at times with shots from ridiculous angles You can have all the talent in the world but you always need that modicum of experience and intelligence in your team. Swift, Ejaria, Puscas et...

Re: Bowen Out.

Had we a striker on top-top form, we would be significantly higher =============================================================== Odd then that I don't FEEL we're that good To score goals we need to create chances. The pieces that are available haven't gelled yet. Is this down to a lack of traing ...

Re: Leeds (A) Saturday February 22nd

Would anyone be kind enough to help sort me a ticket for this? I am a royals fan from Scotland who has just moved to Leeds so was waiting for this fixture. Don't have enough loyalty points as going to games hasn't been viable before, but totally understand if it will sell out then people deserve a ...

Re: BFTG Wednesday (A)

Final score was flattering. We didn't start the game well . Don't think that their keeper touched the ball in the first 15 minutes. The goal settled the nerves. Sending off killed Wednesday completely. Second goal and we were cruising. Job done. For a gate of 22k. The home fans were very quiet from ...

Re: BFTG - Baggies

I don't rate Meite as a number 9 For me he doesn't have the nous to be a good hold-up man I think he's best as wide right, as RW or wide of 3 strikers. For a big bloke he doesn't really rough up defenders, he doesn't win enough headers, and I can't think of any/many great header-downs, or flicks th...

Only works if you're coming from Reading or the surrounding area though, quite understandably I might add.

Re: BFTG - Baggies

Unless we go on an amazing run soon I suspect we maybe looking for a new manager this summer..... The owners surely cant ignore an empty stadium, sh*t football and looking over our shoulder in the league season after season as it now appears. Changing managers isn't the solution though. That's that...

Re: BFTG - Baggies

royalp-we Weird tactics and the team was totally imbalanced.

Suspect it's more down to the players not following instructions. Pele as the holding midfield player seems to drift all over the pitch. Rather than holding position in front of Morrison and Moore.

Re: BFTG - Baggies

Armadillo Roadkill I feel we're losing a bit of perspective here.

After 32 league games. We are at the business end of the season. The frailties of the team (/squad) are only too obvious to see. Opposition managers know how to set up against us. A team without confidence is going to keep on struggling.

Crowbar6753 Get this guy Timbe fit, pace scares the hell out of teams....

Our recruitment policy recently doesn't bode well. Too many punts. Rather than finding the right player to improve the team albeit marginally. Reckon he'll be gone in the summer. Be too lightweight for the Championship.

windermereROYAL Bed wetters are out in force tonight, get the next two games out of the way then we start playing teams around us, no danger of relegation.

Re: BFTG - Baggies

Puts into perspective good championship standard players and mediocre ones. Long long way short of being a team capable of challenging for the top 6. WBA looked very good but weren't really. We made it too easy for them.

Re: BFTG Hull.

As far as Bowen is concerned. At least he puts players in their natural positions. As a no 10 Aluko may yet come good. Ejaria is hardly setting the game alight in that position.

Re: BFTG Hull.

The main problem currently is the lack of ability to create chances let alone score goals. There's a good structure to the team. Now just requires the icing.

Hull's no 9 yesterday was very effective at holding the ball up. Something the squad lacks.

Re: BFTG Hull.

[quote="SCIAG"
Bowen 4/10 - poor subs, weird decision to switch to 4-4-2 which just doesn't suit our players at all. Stick to three in midfield as long as Pele's in there.[/quote]

Average performance from an average team. Still a vast improvement on what we were.
