Re: BFTG Cardiff Home

How many players do we have surplus to requirements? Poor transfer dealings in recent years.

Barrow
Mannone

Re: BFTG Cardiff Home

So we have yet another game in our crowded schedule! Although it won't involve many (if any) of our regular first choice squad and it will be another run out for our youngsters and reserve squad members. That's a good thing - isn't it? Bowen is setting the FA Cup "reserve teams" up in the...

Re: BFTG Cardiff Home

Loader has plenty of time on his side. Meite bulked out physically during his year out on loan. Loader should be out on loan in a lower division for the remainder of this season. Stalled contract talks is most likely why he isn't.

Re: BFTG Cardiff Home

Felt sorry for House. No chance to settle into the game.

Defended well in the final minutes.

I'm sure the players involved will have no complaints in playing another competitive fixture.

Re: The Academy/Development squads watch thread 2015//16

I would not be surprised to see more youngsters move on in Jan as they are going to find development opportunities in the first team extremely limited here. Hopefully the investment in the academy will help the overall finances of the club. Many youngsters have the raw talent. Whether they have the...

Didn't think Adam was as bad as some said. On the ball he was ok but looked off the pace otherwise.

Off the pace = defensive liability.

An industrious no frills box to box player is what's required.

Howe was ok in the replay. Raw but appears to have talent. Needs time to develope.

Re: CONFIMRED - Mark Bowen

Surely there isn’t a single reading fan out there now who doesn’t think sacking Gomes was the right decision? The amount of bedwetters on here at the time was an embarrassment. The guy was a fraud. Finally we have a manager who understands how to play in the championship. Was something more. Like S...

Re: CONFIMRED - Charlie Adam

windermereROYAL I like Charlie, however he`s out of shape, we really need Ovie back in the middle , and Adam back as an impact sub if needed.

Ovie's all round game isn't good enough. Like Meite still gaining experience.

Baldock would be better suited playing there. As links play up well.

Re: BFTG Millwall Away

Reality check. The team is a work in progress.

The defeat was self inflicted. Too many wayward passes/poor decisions.

Without someone to hold the ball upfront. Going to struggle to put any opposition under pressure.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Blackpool (a) sponsored by Dylan Kerr

As for Aluko, he was an awful signing, who has been awful, got drummed out for being expensive and awful and now we're stuck with the waster again. What point exactly there is in giving a poor performing experienced player 5 minutes against Blackpool I just don't see. Fresh legs and an experienced ...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Blackpool (a) sponsored by Dylan Kerr

Yep, thinking the same. Expect Puscas in for Baldock though, then the question is do we rest Baldock completely if he's not going to be starting? If we do then wonder if we may see Adam make a cameo appearance given that there's a spot available on the bench now that Barrett has left. Or if McIntyr...

Re: BFTG blackpool

For a second 11 we were tactically well set up, professional and disciplined. Noticable that Olise started and spent most of the game on the right wing. With McCleary sitting more central and deeper. Andy Rinomhota had his best performance for a while. Tom McIntyre was calm and composed under pressu...
