Re: Portsmouth Admin

The Pox?

There was a time when I thought the Cruiser was an elaborate joke character, a kind of comic satirical creation of a twisted, mad but quite brilliant mind because no-one could really be like that?

Not any more.

Re: Next Seasons Kit

Can anyone confirm this? It is a long drive from North Wales to lick a window and I want to make sure the diesel will not be wasted. Confirmed. Ruel Fox is outside the shop signing shirts now. I won't be able to make it in time. Can someone please get Robbie Fowler to sign a shirt for me and I'll s...

Re: General Fixtures thread

Plucky local former non-leaguers Oxford have a mouth watering opener at Burton Albion for their big time debut. Burton are like a role model for Oxford as to what a well managed former non-league club can achieve really with their first season mid table finish finish last year. Glory days at Munchki...

Also gets the message across to any promising youngsters being the subject of scout interest, come to Reading because it produces Championship standard players and you will get a chance in the first team if you progress well through the system.

Re: Who first took you to football?

Dad. Being from Sheffield he took me first of all to a Sheffield United game at BDTBL (Beautiful down town Bramall Lane) in 1977 I think as a 7/8 year old to see a 0-2 home defeat to Carlisle United in a Div 2 match when up in Sheff to visit Grandma and Granddad... After some badgering he eventually...

Still chuckle to myself when I think of a home game against Rotherham midweek (could be 84/85?) when we went 1-0 down in pissing rain and the South Bank sang "You're going home in a f'ing ambulance" to about 12 away fans spread out on the Town End! We went on to win 2-1 and the 12 were the...

So they have got scum fans and political agendas then? All the SpL titles in the world don't enhance claims to the size of a club BTW Reading have scum fans in places, all clubs have an element. I don't remember Rangers fans attacking a middlesbrough supporters bus full of disabled fans. :D That's ...

How would you feel if a team came to the Madejski and insisted on warming up on the same half of the pitch as our lo...
