Re: The Playoffs 2018/19 edition

Don’t mind Villa (ignoring the John Terry connection) so pleased enough for them. Negatives, one quality away day off the calendar. Trip to the Valley again though.....and Fulham again next season. Think positive! Bet there will be a few Leeds fans singing a little song in the pubs of West Yorkshir...

Re: The Playoffs 2018/19 edition

tidus_mi2 Derby are the best bet for a semi-decent team getting promoted and they were dog shit in the first leg, oxf*rd me if we get a Leeds - Villa final.

I've been consoling my fact that if it is a Leeds v Villa final, one of them is going to have that horrible crushed feeling that we know so well!

Re: The Playoffs 2018/19 edition

Wanting Bristol City to win the play offs....? Not sure if you are on the wind up lol! The "head butt" incident was one of the most pathetic things I have seen in a long time, the actual head butt in the stomach was so lame, followed by a young promising player like Tomori crying to the re...

Re: Rival Watch

Imagine what it was like growing up in Warwickshire with Villa fans being in the majority. Generally those that went on to be criminals or low paid muppets were the villa fans. What on earth didn’t the Birmingham fans go on to become then ? Politicians ? There weren't any. We had Millwall, Wolves a...

I can't understand anyone wanting anything other than things to go massively tits up for Portsmouth personally. And why would you want to visit Sovereign ring city and their dump of a ground either?

It's a new rule that's coming in to the premier league next year. All teams must have at least one bearded woman in their first team squads. Inclusive.

Re: The League of 4

Seems to be much rejoicing all over the place after yesterday but need to keep our feet firmly on the ground , still work to be done, if we lose at Bristol and results go against us we could be back in the mix. I agree. It's not as if this exact same thing didn't happen last weekend! Massive three ...

Re: Opposition fans back from the game

http://www.griffinpark.org/forums/showthread.php?t=131864 Not very complimentary to us, many calling us "rubbish opposition" or "shouldn't be losing to teams like Reading". Funny that, that's twice this season they think they have a divine right to just walk over us End of the d...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Brentford (h) sponsored by Terry Hurlock

They are a decent side and we will have to play really well with no complacency to get anything out of this one. If we play like we did against Preston we'll have a chance of getting a good result. Reading their forum, they like to play teams on the break, presumably attacking with a lot of pace, so...

Re: Opposition fans back from the game

Their defending for Rino’s goal was appalling. All stood off - was bizarrely bad I watched the highlights back, it's not just Rino. If he had missed it Ejaria was there in even more space. Say what you want about it being a one sided affair, but any team that defends like that in the last minute of...

Re: Opposition fans back from the game

I love the irony of the time wasting comments when what was the first thing Norwich did after going 2-1 up.....! The other thing I noticed about last night was what a bunch of freaks their crowd looked like whenever the cameras turned towards the stands. I know we have a few ourselves in that dept b...

Re: Generic clubs in financial crisis Thread

When is the last time a relatively recent league club went bust? I can only think of rushden and diamonds for some reason but there must he some more. Hereford United, went bust in 2014. Darlington 2012 (the club currently with that name is not the same entity, whatever their supporters might like ...

Biter sweet for me. The worst fans are back in championship. Now have to see and here Fulham fans talk about championship football and how they are a class above the rest. Depends how you define “worst” fans. We finished 23rd last season in terms of away attendance. Only Button Abion had a worse av...

Re: BFTG - PNE

After the first few minutes on Saturday I thought we might be in for a good afternoon as Preston weren't doing what most teams do against us, which is close us down quickly, reduce our time on the ball, and force us into silly errors and gifts for the opposition. I was really surprised by that as I ...

And who can forget Andy Hughes, Lesley Taylor and Karl Elsey Wish I could. Bizarrely, a bit like an exgirlfriend where you only remember the good parts of the relationship and not the petty arguments and the fact she was a mentalist, I now look back on Andy Hughes and only remember the occasional 3...

Re: Rival Watch

Personally I quite like Birmingham City due to family supporting connections. It can still be an intimidating ground to visit in the modern age, some proper sometimes unhinged fans. Keep right on is a great club anthem too and very appropriate for a club that represents true Brummies in the shadow o...
