Re: £3million for Ola John

Talented, took half a season to get up to the standard, only just a full 90 minute player, this season's Mass or Royston. No thanks.

Mathematiclly safe threshold met, Vydra now out and 2 youngsters to appear in the game

Still lose 2-0 but irrelevant, only hope is some entertainment.

Re: Sack The Manager... REALLY?!

I don't think i'd be alone at all in suspending my support for RFC if we hired Warnock as the manager, not that he'd come, and anyone suggesting that would be the club moving forwards, is delusional.

Re: Bolton (A) Predictions

Lost 6-0 at Bristol on their last run out, and I convinced my boss to go along (revenge for Wembley 95) and he left at 5, we have got to win this one, not that it changes the season, but it shows that Brian is making a change. Even a draw is only a stay of execution. 3-0 Reading, Vydra and Kermit up...

Re: Rumour - AS Monaco to invest in Reading?

Surely the owners will be thinking why they would need to be shelling out for a new striker in the summer when they had already invested in Kermit and Rakkels in Jan, unless it's a complete acceptance that it was like for like with those leaving, that left a balance and now they need to replace the ...

Re: Sweet Caroline

It has some kind of place, but if the intent was an 'anthem' then it's an epic fail. It gets no more than 'dudud, do doh' as opposed to anyone singing any of the lines, they don't encourage any line singing by repeating the same couple of lines and i cannot see it ever being spontaneously being sung...

Re: Tight old Reading

The German community structure is considerably different from that of UK and extends into every aspect of community life. This is very evident in their beer branding. Good football came too late for Huntley and Palmers. Mr Mad invested in the club of the town that he found his business. I don't know...

RJ, while in no way I account for perhaps why you really do not like Bournemouth or it's club, nor can I account for the rich of Bournemouth actually spending their dosh on their club instead of yachts and jetskis, the town is in the top 10 most unaffordable places to live in the UK, the area of San...

RichTea94 Given we have a tendency to turn it on against the better teams in the division, I'm not as pessimistic as our current situation would suggest I should be.

So boring 1-1

Further back than the wall, luxury. My mates and i were watching from the roof of the Battle Hospital where we were half way through a 12 hour shift mucking out the toilets, for three penny half a day and all the left over sweaty hospital food we could eat. Kids at the Madstad these days don't know ...

Good day out, local for us so interesting listening to the bemoaning on the way home. Lots of nagativity and over ambition. Good away atmosphere, thought Brizzle were quiet given their concentration into 2 stands. The Mr Ashton and Rod Stewart impromptus hugely entertaining. The 27k stadium with sta...
