Re: McShane leaves

I've been very dismissive of and anti McShane the last few months. But now he's no longer with us, I don't have to be frustrated and upset at him being on our books and no longer good enough. I don't have to worry about him being on the pitch and losing us points like Blackburn away. Now he's no lo...

Re: McShane leaves

There was also the on-pitch flare-up with Danny Williams away at Boro which ended up with them both getting retrospective 3-game bans for violent conduct. ...which was the beginning of the end for Brian, shameful really, McShane was club captain and totally let everyone down. Add in basicall...

Re: 18/19 End of Season Awards

oxf*rd hell. You lot don't half overrate Rino - he's had about 6 good games. I'm calling it now - biggest disappointment of 19/20.

Re: STs for season 2019/2020

I believe there are lights above the turnstiles flash a different colour and a steward inside does a random check based on those colours. If you are caught I believe you are invited to go to the TO and purchase a full price matchday ticket and potentially your ST is cancelled. Sounds about right. H...

Re: Rumour Meite back to France?

So we sell a hungry, young striker for a considerably older striker? That doesn’t fit the Gomes plan that posters are talking about. Happy to see Novakovic return btw. Ideally we have four strikers. Meite, Oliveira, Loader and Novakovic. Sell McNulty, Baldock and Bod. Can only sell those who are wa...

Re: McShane leaves

This won’t be a popular view but good riddance. McShane has periodically annoyed me over the years. From the very first time I saw him carelessly lunge into a challenge against Ipswich at home, to a colossal lack of effort at Preston away, him and Gunter passing the ball to each other 20 times in o...

Re: McShane leaves

I'd say calling him a prick is extremely wide of the mark, he obviously upset a lot of people with his performance against Blackburn but sadly that was just a sign that the game was getting too fast for him. While out of the team he has represented the club well and hasn't bitched and moaned and ha...

Re: BFT(final)G

I can’t recall him pushing forward in the way that Gunter was. Didn’t catch my eye Absolutely bonkers. Everyone around me was commenting on how he seemed to be in the penalty box all the time, oddly so. I can remember him at least twice being 1 on 1 with the keeper. Genuinely was noticeably attacki...

Re: BFT(final)G

Very enjoyable especially seeing our youngsters offer so much movement. Felt sorry for Bod not making the squad. Ditto Harriott. Both unlikely to be here next season. No game time for Baldock or Ezatolahi so can see them going too. Club 1871 made plenty of noise. It was an uplifting finish to a slo...

Re: Speculation - Players From The Relegated Trio

CountryRoyal Whilst not saying you can’t get good players from relegated sides (Yiadom), they’re relegated for a reason and more often than not it’s because the players aren’t good enough. I’d quite like it if shipped a bit higher.

Re: BFTG - Boro (A)

Haven’t started one of these for a while. Not much point in going into too much. Was overall a fairly poor display certainly in an attacking sense, we have a great habbit of turning really promising situations into absolutely nothing. The passed it McCleary particularly at fault. Baldock isn’t a fo...

Just goes to show the idiotic comments and doubters you have to put up with when trying to get any initiative going.

Very pleased that its looking like being a success!

Re: BFTG - Bristol City

Thought Bristol looked very average. Martinez's distribution was generally brilliant - almost had several assists.

Urrrzzz posting predictably bonkers. A draw away to a playoff team and the average rating is a 4/5
