Re: MATCHWATCH : Wigan Athletic (a) sponsored by a long trek up north

Trouble is our wing backs just don’t get forward enough, although Yiadom TBF does have his moments.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Wigan Athletic (a) sponsored by a long trek up north

We were so desperate upfront last night, that we have to make a change.
Start with Jao.
If no Baldock, then give Macca a go.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Leeds United (h) sponsored by nothing to lose

Tonight we were absolutely shafted by a loser called Boye. Not only did he make a horrific lame error that cost us the game, but his laxidasical efforts after that showed no desire to make amends. I hope we never see the Argentinian in a Reading shirt ever again. Absolutely agree, should have creame...

BFTT Leeds

God have we seen this before. We desperately hang on;then three errors, three points gone. Boye can’t b arsed,Richards can’t stop the cross and the Leeds player busts a gut, with Rino not realising the danger. Rafael 6 weak punches and one pass out put us in trouble. Gunter 7 Back to his best, looking ...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Leeds United (h) sponsored by nothing to lose

Gunter won’t play, unless he is really buzzing in training. He has just been out for too long. Rino will play RB and Pele CM. Doubt about Swift is worrying though;in that case Gunter might come in,and Pele replace Swift, different role though. We have to do something about Puscas though.Again if Baldoc...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Brentford (a) sponsored by a Phil Parkinson flick on

That result is really disappointing.
Lose against Dirty Leeds and it may start a slide.
Hopefully Bowen and Eddie will know how to d/w this, otherwise we will be dragged in again.

Re: If Reading didn’t exist

When I lived in London.I usually went to QPR.Bowles,Francis,Masson,et al. Saying I supported them would be a bit of stretch. Always a good crack there in the seventies and worth going just for Stan. I use to drink in The Swan near Hyde Park, and you would occasionally see them in there. Had to laugh ...

Re: Nostalgia thread

I loved Elm Park, even though it was pretty decrepit. My first game as a very young lad was against Portsmouth.Jimmy Dickinson and Ron Saunders. My favourite game was either thrashing Wet Sham or beating Liverpool. I was surrounded by Liverpool fans in work. The following day in work,I let them stew f...

Richards Obita or Blackett ?

Who’s our first choice LB. ? Richards Good energy, getting better ,great potential.Less nervous now, than previously. Might be short on pace, and could be bullied.Positional sense ? Obita.Elusive,experienced.Got a goal in him.Not the best defensively,Might be a bit physically fragile. Blackett.Good in ...

Re: BFTG - Luton

Yes Luton were the worst team to visit the Mad Stad in a very long time, but they did have a system;it was just on numerous occasions they made some pretty crass errors. We on the other hand were with the odd exception very good. Quite where we are exactly will be determined in the next two games. IM...

Gunter must be peed off big time.He has probably two or three years left and nobody is interested in taking him on.He has already wasted a big chunk of this season.

In the 2005 season didn’t we just lose two League games ?Plymouth first game of the season, then Luton away late on ? I seem to recall it was on telly ?

From what I remember, Kits did not say he didn't like Sidwell, only that they didn't get on, there is a difference. Sidwell, in his podcast said that they just had their own circle of friends. (different card schools on the coach home?) Doesn't make sense though aren't they both ginger? Kitson did ...

Re: How times change

I think the problem is that we all watch the Prem and Europe on telly, then go to an actual Championship game and get frustrated by our lack of quality in comparison. I admit It is unfair marking player performances down when making that comparison. That said even when we are shite I still really enj...
