Re: MATCHWATCH : Luton Town (a) sponsored by Sean Evers

We've got quite a good record at bouncing back from poor defeats under Bowen, haven't we? 3-0 Reading.

Re: THE BETTING THREAD

Winston Biscuit Wigan have been on a great run, but if their heads are down then the one team I wouldn't want to face is Brentford.

I dunno, they'll probably be tired from the incredibly tough game we gave them on Tuesday.

Re: Next seasons kit choice?

Really like that Sporting kit, something like that would be most epacceptable. Agreed, looks like it's a beauty. I assume it has a white panel on the back? Has a green panel on the back. More I see it the more I’m coming round to it. I can't picture it for us, mainly because I've completely forgott...

Re: The Academy/Development squads watch thread 2015//16

It was suggested earlier in the week that Azeez had also gone- seen him a few times and not rated him at all. From what I have seen in U23 games I don't think Medford-Smith or Burley are good enough for Championship level - although they could do a job at perhaps L2 level and some players develop l...

Re: Swift to... Southampton

Romaine Sawyers cost £2.9 million when moving from Brentford to West Brom having been the playmaker there. I would expect Swift to cost something similar (about the same level of player) although a bit younger and there could be the premium for a Prem signing so perhaps a bit more than the supposed...

Re: Swift to... Southampton

Has he still got the highest chance creation in the division? That should put a couple of extra mill on his pricetag. Good amount of time left on his contract. Young, English. Should be looking at £8m+.

It's almost us though us, Birmingham and QPR have got nothing to play for, and the results are reflecting that.

Guessing Medford Smith has gone as well. He commented on Jayden Bogle's instagram post after the Derby game saying "Avenged for me nicely".

Jesus wept. Hope he's OK.

I remember years ago, a West ham player callum davenport (?) got stabbed twice in the leg and had to retire. He was quite good

Re: The Chris Gunter appreciation thread

He was a big victim of Stamball. And our general trend towards appallingly implemented passing football from Adkins onward. It played to all his weaknesses and negative choices and none of his strengths. Could never fault his effort or attitude, but for me he'll always remain symptomatic of our rec...

Re: The Chris Gunter appreciation thread

According to twitter Chris Gunter has agreed a short term contract extension until the end of the season and then will leave Reading on a free transfer with multiple clubs interested in signing him. Good on him for seeing it out, especially after the way he was treated at the start of the season. Ha...

Re: European Leagues Thread 2012/2013

From Despair To Where? I thought his relatively small release clause was at Salzburg.

Can't see him ever playing for United. He supports Leeds and his dad would also probably explode if he did.

£63m by the looks of it, but can't be triggered for another two years.

Re: European Leagues Thread 2012/2013

Like Haaland more and more each time I see him, he kinda defies logic. Nobody that large should be able to run as fast as he can, he is quite unique. Cannot see a weakness in his game as it stand and I really like him as a character too, very much like Zlatan in his approach to interviews etc. Manc...

Re: Obita new contract

In terms of goals and assists, he's had his best ever season for us, having played fewer games. Give him a year with an option for extension if he can stay fit.
