Re: Any more out the door?

Surprised Gunter is still here. Must be wage related as he’s suit a lower end Champ club or top end L1. Meyler apparently has lots of interest in L2 but is said to be holding out for L1. Think both will be gone before deadline day. But of one in the eye for all those who said Gunter was brilliant. ...

Re: Next Season's Squad.

Snowflake Royal He tries to trick his way through too much, plays extravagant balls, ignores simple passing and is positionally clueless when not in possession.

Can we see the stats to back that up? Or is it just your opinion?

Just wondering that is all........

Re: CONFIMRED - Charlie Ada

Charlie Adam might be slow physically, but mentally he is light years ahead of Kelly. Adam has great vision for picking a pass and has awareness of the game around him. Kelly was forever getting caught in position because he was just too slow in picking a pass. On top of that, Adam is excellent at ...

Re: Rival Watch

Hound Its either a cracking wind up, or an absolute disaster of a kit. I really hope its the latter

It must be a wind up as the sponsor isn't allowed to cover an area greater than 250cm squared, and that clearly exceeds that.

Re: Will Gomes stay?

Well Tim Dellor has tweeted this morning that Gomes told him that he turned down a job at a "European Champions League" club to see the job through - if true good to hear but also suggests he wouldn't be short of suitors if he decides to walk. would have been one of these. Shakhtar Donets...

Fox Talbot Walker digs Yiadom out of a hole.

Considering Yiadom is in Berkshire that's an even bigger hole than the one Donald Trump is currently digging.

Reading official twitter said he came on for Osho.....you’d think they would know....

Re: New Training Ground

Nameless Bottom line is you can’t expect the club to make it available at times when they need to use it !

I never said they should, I was just saying that the times when the community would most want to use it are when it won't be available.

Sounds great. Makes total sense to have a community dome at Forrest school tbh Wonder when they’ll decomm the current dome. It’s looking a bit tatty Not sure how much "community" use there will be. The school get use of it during the school day up to late afternoon and then it is handed o...

Re: New Training Ground

Similar setup to what QPR have over at Heston. For me, and I know it costs money, just feel they missed a trick to create a real centre piece. But it the planners wouldn't have allowed it then there is no trick to miss... Wasn't it a real battle to get permission to build what they have so to ask t...

I don't get the hype with Harry Maguire.....he is one of those defenders that always makes those great last ditch challenges, but he only needs to because he has either made a mistake or got his positioning wrong.....

Re: Rumour - Ben Heneghan

The key is that the owner's money and the club's money are not the same thing. If the club had money we could spend it. What we can't do is be gifted or loaned someone else's money to spend well beyond our means. If your outgoings are a 130% of your income, you have no significant savings and you o...

Re: Rumour - Ben Heneghan

No, I got it, I disagreed with it. We can't spend until we've cut cost / increased income. Broke. There's a difference in "having no money" and "not being able to spend". One is directly affiliated with being broke, the other isn't The key is that the owner's money and the club'...

Re: Rumour - Ben Heneghan

Looks to have the hallmarks of a good signing. Shouldn't be hard to compete with Hibs either, even though we're broke. Similar sized Northern clubs may have an advantage if he doesn't want to uproot family or get homesick though. Just on a point of detail. We’re not broke. We could go and break our...
