Re: The generic transfer thread

With Luiz now a 'midfielder' they are basically going for the same spot in the team.

Re: Sin-bins to be discussed

But they're still being punished twice, the little dears. It's an absolute nonsense. Why should someone get sent off though, for fouling a player inside the box when the same foul on the half way line would go unpunished. You don't know that the player was going to score if he wasn't fouled so how ...

Re: Sin-bins to be discussed

Wouldn't be long before the first deliberate miss...a goal is a goal, but SOMEONE will decide if they get a pen after five minutes that its worth playing against 10 men for 85 minutes. Don't get me wrong, though, worth exploring. If they decide to give up the chance to score then so be it. Don't se...

, although the goal music is cringeworthy. But everyone does it.... Far worse IMHO are the clubs with supposed amazing tradition who now have to 'fake' the atmosphere. Yes, that's you Liverpool and West Ham... your fans could probably manage to sing your iconic club songs without you helping via th...

19 year old Domenico Berardi put 4 goals past AC Milan for Sassuolo yesterday to win 4-3 http://www.whoscored.com/Articles/kx1comnno0uthh6fsbrqew/Show/Player-Focus-Berardis-Seamless-Progression-to-Serie-A-Stardom interesting rise to the top for Berardi who at 15 wasn't playing football for anyone y...

Re: LOLiverpooLOL - Next Season

Not sure about the Liverpool loving on Twitter. Conceded 3 to Stoke, got fortunate with a soft penalty and an own goal. Didn't look convincing at all Consistent attacking prowess is what is getting the plaudits, that's 51 goals in 21 games this season, only City have scored more. No-one was praisin...

Re: Man CitHEHEHE

should have been a goal, absolutely inexcusable. i feel bad for the player because it was a world class strike. the nasri tackle probably should have been a red as well. poor ref. Particularly agreed on the challenge on Nasri. There's lots of debate about the two-footers and very late challenges we...

bobby1413 I detest that little runt Sterling

One of the best young English talents in the game, and (from what I recall) an exemplary attitude on the pitch. What's so bad about him?

Re: Wet Spam Relegation Watch

On that - why would anyone go to that game?

I know there are diehards who attend every week, and it's still a game of football - but the second leg will be as pointless a game of football as has ever been played. And probably another thrashing.

Messi back for Barca, comes on with 25 minutes left against Getafe in the Copa del Rey and scores twice. Set up nicely for the league math with Atletico at the weekend 30 years to the day that Maradona came back from a few months out to score 2 goals against Getafe https://pbs.twimg.com/media/Bdf1p...

Re: What's to blame?

I blame Alan Pardew. Most would accept that the Southampton team that went up with us (behind us, lest we forget) after 2011/2012 were overwhelmingly reliant on the goals of Rickie Lambert. We dubbed them a "one-man team" ourselves. They probably wouldn't have gone up with Lambert, and Ad...

Henderson will be on the plane if his form continues until May.

Re: Why can't we create?!

Simple, Adkins. he selects the team, sets out the formation and tells the players the way he want them to play. So you actually think that in training tomorrow, Adkins will have his defenders practicing receiving the ball short from McCarthy, passing it between themselves a couple of times, before ...
