Re: BFTG Hull.

Err... we switched to a back 4 at HT. Admittedly didn't pack the midfield as such. Err... no we didnt. --------------------Rafael ------Moore---Morrison---Blackett Araruna----------Pele--------------Obita ----------------Swift---Ejaria -------------Baldock---Meite Was how we started the second half...

Re: BFTG Hull.

Based on what? We might have done but we didn’t look like conceding in the slightest before we did. That may have happened with a packed midfield just the same. My non professional and unbiased opinion based on my non professional and unbiased analysis of the game. Obviously. Err... we switched to ...

Re: BFTG Hull.

If we had switched to a back 4 and packed the midfield we would not only have kept a clean sheet, but looked far more likely to score a second. Based on what? We might have done but we didn’t look like conceding in the slightest before we did. That may have happened with a packed midfield just the ...

Re: BFTG Hull.

The main problem currently is the lack of ability to create chances let alone score goals. There's a good structure to the team. Now just requires the icing. Hull's no 9 yesterday was very effective at holding the ball up. Something the squad lacks. Yeah that pretty much. There’s a lot of experts o...

Re: BFTG Hull.

Aluko isn't lazy. He used to look lazy with Stam but that was more down to him not understanding his role rather than his attitude. It's a common misconception that Aluko is a lazy player And he certainly isn't an awful player. He was no worse than Swift or Ejaria out there today and yet once again...

Re: Rival Watch

Robbed yet again. Why is everyone always talking about Leeds in this thread anyway? Its really tiresome. I agree. We should have a "Leeds are falling apart" thread. Absolutely not. Up there with PSG, and the thingy side from Italy with the black and white Neo-fascist badge. And defeated b...

Re: BFTG Hull.

Watching Reading isn’t easy.Just when you think we are getting somewhere (large tracts of the 2nd half),somebody, somewhere switches off and bang, we’re back in the mire. Please Mr Bowen, don’t play three at the back,as we haven’t got a clue how to play it.In the first ten or so minutes we could have...

Re: BFTG Hull.

sandman What did you think of the Swift performance, Seth?

Shite. Thought almost everyone was shite. Even Pele. Baldock put himself about though.

Edit: thought Araruna looked decent!

Re: BFTG Hull.

Not gonna bother with a full report. Big question for me is "Why Aluko?" What does he bring in that scenario? Take off a hard working, industrious striker and replace him with Aluko? Dont get me wrong Swift and Ejaria do their fair share in helping defensively but neither threaten in the ...

bcubed
NewCorkSeth How does that even happen.

Its the old not taking advantage when on top rule

Had some decent chances and didn't put them away

Ejaria dicked 5 players and put it an inch wide. We were at least trying to finish it off.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Hull City (h) sponsored by Billy Whitehurst

Like the look of Araruna a lot Great skill and getting stuck in with some good tackles But most of all great awareness of the game and what is happening around him and where he should be. Much agreed. I have long held the theory that DMs and WBs have roughly the same skill set and if Araruna can pl...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Hull City (h) sponsored by Billy Whitehurst

I dont think Hull have exploited our flanks once? Most their chances have been balls over the top.
