Re: Championship to return

The salary cap idea is starting to gain some pace. The FL are looking to have a vote on Monday amongst member clubs to reduce the majority needed on passing FFP regulations from 75% of clubs to 67%. If that’s agreed then hopefully the idea stands a much better chance of being accepted though around ...

Yeah also had this problem and it’s annoying Was using safari so I tried in Chrome, and this time it logged in successfully and seemed to work ok So may well just be a browser issue, but a bit rubbish considering I’m sure a very large percentage of people use safari Yes I had problems from a tablet...

Re: Championship to return

The EP website is reporting crowds could well be allowed back into grounds by September https://www.getreading.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/efl-plans-great-reading-championship-18408710 Issue is though is that it’s rumoured that capacity is will be limited to 25% of each stadia so Reading will...

Re: Ex Players

Saw these at the weekend and they are oxf*rd hilarious. The Hunt, Gooding, Harper and Federici ones were my favourites. I was unaware of this account until this morning. The drawings are deliberately bad? Yes. Cheap/fake Panini joke. Excellent laugh. And, methinks, a nice little earner for the chap...

Re: Rival Watch

We all agreed Lyle Taylor is a knobhead? not really. He is 30 years old, has one last decent contract in him. An injury now makes him far less attractive for someone to sign for next season. unfortunate for Charlton, but I suspect this happens a lot more than we think And, apparently, Galatasary wa...

Re: 2019/20 Season - How will it end?

Harsh on Posh, but an inevitability given the costs involved in 'safely' completing fixtures. Bolton, Southend and Tranmere go down. And Oxford face Wycombe in the play-off semis. :) Actually as far as I can tell the games are Fleetwood (6th) v Wycombe (3rd) Portsmouth (5th) v Oxford (4th) Hoping e...

Michael O’Neill now tested positive so Stoke are likely to be “managed” by Billy McKinlay next Saturday.

Re: 2019/20 Season - How will it end?

In League 2 the play off games are Northampton (7th) v Cheltenham (4th) Colchester (6th) v Exeter (5th) I’d like Exeter to get promoted but to be honest it’s a line up of clubs all very even so can probably enjoy these playoffs without too much worry. At the bottom of league 2 it would appear that t...

Re: 2019/20 Season - How will it end?

League 2 has officially ended. Play off final will still be held at Wembley which is completey bizarre and unnecessary. Why not just hold it at a smaller neutral venue that is in closer proximity to the two finalists? Presumably because there is a deal in place that says these games will be held at...

Hi folks, does anyone know if there will be commentary of the games on Radio Berkshire?. I live on the Lincolnshire coast and have just found out that my current subscription with ifollow expires on 1st July. I'd previously cancelled for next season as I'm moving to Spain as soon as lockdown is eas...

Re: The football is returning excitement-ometer

Old Man Andrews Couldn't give a toss. Championship should have just finished as it is, nobody is going to touch the top 2. If anything just have a relegation playoff for the bottom 3 of the Championship and the top 3 in League 1.

But just for the slim chance of Leeds fouling up it has to be worth it.

Clotet to leave Birmingham at the end of the season Weird club. Thought he was doing ok there all things considered. Looks like he has asked to leave and they granted it. Maybe he knows they're going to get a points deduction/similar and doesn't want to be a part of that. Think the FL appealed the ...

Re: The football is returning excitement-ometer

Can’t wait to get back to the over reaction on this board to every Reading game and finally finishing what will turn out to be a season that delivers what we mostly thought it would : mid table obscurity. And as soon as it’s all over we can have another 6 weeks or so of no football while the club st...

Re: Championship to return

Nameless
Sutekh All midweek fixtures are home games.

Do we think that will be significant ?

Yes, the one v Huddersfield has a 7.45pm kick off yet the FL only gave 5pm, 6pm and 8pm as kick off times for midweek fixtures so I wonder what’s going on there?
