Re: GOMES OUT!

What is so disheartening is that the feelgood factor had briefly returned to the club. I can see it being toxic again if we lose to Preston. In truth Gomes can have no complaints as we have a virtually fully fit squad. This +100 Think the week of Preston, QPR and Forest will be his final throw of t...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Bristol City (a) sponsored by hopeless causes

Might sound silly here but I dont think we are going to start getting anything from games until our closing down tactics change. Currently we have 1 player close down the ball while the others close down space. We need to either start having the other players close down the passing routes a la Pep ...

Re: Gomes, Should he stay or should he go? Mk2

It’s that the style of play just is not suitable for the English second division. Trying to play like Liverpool when the players don’t seem fit enough and there just isn't the pace in the squad is plainly ridiculous. Tough start yes, but constant defeats against workmanlike (Charlton, Blackburn) and...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Bristol City (a) sponsored by hopeless causes

Bring back McDermott  No problem with that so long as he was finally given the chance he was allegedly promised on his second return. He will just be sacked again - he wasn't really very good and his double sacking shows that ? What has he done since he left, sorry was sacked from RFC ? Noooo...

Re: GOMES OUT!

Sorry this is now just ridiculous. Another defeat to yet another team that hasn’t really offered all that much despite their lofty position and now Hudds and Stoke have found victories. Good players consistently underperforming. Tactics just are not right for this level of football in the English ga...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Bristol City (a) sponsored by hopeless causes

We are now in the relegation zone Yep Hudders have made the change and seems to be working out for them Record £££s spent, bottom 3 at second international break. I suspect his time is up. Bet it isn’t. Can the club afford his dismissal? Suspect he’ll see us through the next few games (all extremel...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Bristol City (a) sponsored by hopeless causes

As with the likes of Sheff wed, Blackburn, Middlesbrough etc. City don’t sound anything particularly brilliant yet Reading just do not offer anything much by way of threat despite the attacking nature of the squads selected. Something just is not right with the team/management tactics

City will come out of the blocks faster than Usain Bolt while Reading will plod about slowly looking like the proverbial “rabbits i...
