Re: January Transfer Window

Snowflake Royal From being ludicrously overstuffed at fullback we could potentially find ourselves starting next season with:

Yiadom, Richards, and Watson.

And, apparently, Araruna

morganb 82 minutes until the window slams shut - what are the chances of getting anyone else in?

Confimred Interesting one, will give us a different option. And presumably a simple signing to make if he’s any good Indeed https://www.readingfc.co.uk/news/2020/january/royals-complete-loan-move-for-winger-ayub-masika/ Ayub Timbe Masika 27 years old. 33 goals in 147 league appearances since starti...

Re: Ho(ut)we

Disappointed with this but I forgot he is 21 and he'll be looking for regular starts. Probably doesn't help that we've just signed a Brazilian who can also play in his position. I presume that Reading must see Tennai Watson as the next specialist right back in line after Yiadom rather than Teddy Ho...

Nameless
Greatwesternline Also, have Reading ever signed a player from a mainland European club, who went on to be a consistent multi-year out right success story?

The legend that was Uwe Hartenberger of course....

Re: January Transfer Window

Sources telling me Connor Wickham will sign on loan tomorrow. Is your source JLow? Makes sense to me as I’ve said elsewhere In competition with Sheff Wed, Cardiff and Forest apparently Given Conor was with Reading as a youngster (until he was about 14 I think) perhaps there is a little bit of a con...

Re: Rumour - Felipe Araruna

What can Reading fans expect from Araruna? Well, they can expect a solid player. In Brazil he's what we label a 'European footballer'. A physical player, a good defender. Don't expect creativity or glimpses of 'samba' football from him, though. https://www.getreading.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-n...

Reading apparently still hoping to get a striker in. But as it’s probably going to be a last day late thing if it does happen.

Mr Timbe has already been working and training with the Royals for the last couple of weeks so might possibly be involved tomorrow night if the deal is done.

Re: Rumour - Felipe Araruna

Sounds like he will be cheap, so maybe it's a low risk signing. If we've uncovered a gem, great. If not, no great pain involved. yeah this pretty much. I'd be lying if I said I was getting excited by a 23 year old 5ft 9inch holding midfielder with 30 odd senior games behind him, but there must be s...

Re: LOLiverpooLOL - Next Season

We'll always have the football league 46 game record, Man Citeh last year was better than 106 so if you're going to compare with 38 game seasons it's already gone I'm pretty sure that we have the points record, not the points per game record - that's not a thing This is the thing, you can't compare...

Tyler Blackett has turned down the contract offer made by Reading and is now expected to leave the club, though most likely in the summer when his current deal expires.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Bristol City (h) sponsored by Bobby Williams

Anyone any ideas why on earth MB played only one up front? It’s utterly ridiculous! All the fit strikers we have need to have someone to play off of. And I think Meite is better in a central role rather than forever put on the wing. Crowd have largely lost interest already, be interesting to see wha...
